About
The Players Course is one of two championship courses at Indian Wells Golf Resort, both of which are ranked in the top 20 golf courses in California. Opened in 2007, the course is still young but the landscape's existing trees were carefully incorporated into the layout to give it a more mature feel. The terrain has many assets to offer a round of golf, including plenty of water features and elevation changes. The challenging layout is complete with meticulously sculpted bunkers. It is a scenic course too with lush, well manicured fairways accented by colorful flowers and meandering streams. The design also takes advantage of the stunning views of the surrounding Santa Rosa, San Jacinto, and San Bernardino mountains ranges. To the south, Eisenhower Mountain serves as a breathtaking backdrop.

Fantastic course
Played Players on Wednesday after playing sister course on Monday. They amount of rain they had earlier in the month taxed the maintenance team. Monday’s round was great but the rough for a resort course hadn’t been cut recently and was thick and penal. Course was great but a foot off fairways and you were doomed. The Wednesday round at Players was amazing. The staff had caught up with battling the recent weather and had the course in beautiful shape, as I’m sure the Celebrity was on Wednesday also. You can’t go wrong with either. The staff from the bag check to the starter to the cats who pack you up at the end were all honestly hoping you were going to have a good day. We play there at least once every year we come down and will continue to do so.
Course Review
Everything was first class from personnel in the pro shop, the starter, and the cart people. The course was in excellent shape. Bunkers were numerous and well placed. Greens were true and very fast. The only thing we were disappointed in was that the driving range was closed. We definitely recommend this course.

Course was fun, challenging and the greens were excellent! Will play this course again every time I head to Palm Springs.

Greens, fairways, tees excellent
Expansive Waste areas reasonable.
Rough in many areas dirt an hard pan.
Might be related to rains but appear unkempt.
Rest of course didn’t seem compromised.
Greens are appropriately challenging, fair speed and pin placements
Nice Day and Good Location
The course was well maintained, staff was outstanding, however the fairways were very tight to one another, which made hitting the greens in regulation difficult if your tee shot was not in the middle of the fairway.

Really nice place the players course it was incredible greens. Everything went really fast. Only took a little over four hours. Really nice people and lots of nice buildings.
