The Palmer Course at Turtle Bay Resort gives you a taste of Scotland and a splash of jungle, all wrapped in a beautiful Hawaiian beach-front package.
With five miles of beaches, Turtle Bay Resort is the perfect place to gaze at Kawela Bay, Bay View Beach Lawn and Turtle Bay, itself. Only 45 minutes from Honolulu, the resort immerses guests in the natural beauty of Oahu. In fact, ocean views are the norm in every one of the resort's 443 rooms.
The Palmer Course was designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay and is the home to an annual event on the LPGA Tour. The golf course surrounds a wetland preserve known as the Punaho'olapa Marsh, which is home to many endangered Hawaiian birds.
The distinctive 18-hole championship course features a front nine that plays like Scottish Links with sand, water and rolling terrain and a back nine that rolls through a jungle forest of pine. The 17th hole, its signature, has nine bunkers leading up to a green that sits on a plateau 100 feet from the ocean.

Turtle bay
Excellent. Only issue I had was the cost. They did not have a senior rate. Very difficult for a fixed income senior to afford
Not a stunning course
It’s not worth for 3 hours round trip drive from Waikiki for the price and course. There are only two holes with ocean view. Nothing special compared with other good golf courses in Honolulu, very expensive too.
Good layout, Funky greens
The course was in great shape and overall had a good time. Every course in Oahu is expensive so that is what it is. My only gripe were the greens, they were fuzzy and slow like super slow. For $200+ you are expecting at least good greens this was almost unputtable.
Fabulous Hawaii…
One of the most prettiest courses I’ve Played….Pricy…But worth every penny…Tee off was better priced over the resort cost…Will use them again when we’re off to Maui!

The only one, my personal review, thing that I didn’t know is there was no ocean view.
Oh! The clubhouse food did not meet my expectation.
Overcharged
I booked my tee time thru GolfNow. I was supposed to pay $358 at the course for my twosome. I was charged $374.86. This is unacceptable.
The course is very good, good ocean view, good maintenance. Very windy.
Our tee time is 1:00 pm . With twilight rate $139. Per person . We arrived early and got moved to 12:00 tee time. But the staff did not tell us the price is different and got charged $437.7.(for two players) We did not aware until got home couple days later. Called the golf course and they said they can not do anything. It is too too bad ruined my good impression about this golf course. Hawaii vacation with golf is my dream. Turtle bay golf is out of my list from now on.
Great golf experience!
The staff outside and inside were awesome! The experience on the course was fantastic. Great layout, but the greens were kind of spotty but rolled well with good speed. If you are in Hawaii, you need to play this course.
