Arrowood Golf Course

Always a great experience on this track. Well maintained and excellent staff.

Have yet to have a bad round here still. Although my score may disagree.

Beautiful vibe with the range and snack shack/bar. The problem is they closed so early

There didn't seem to be a marshal on the course because the two foursomes in front of us were VERY slow. We started at 1:20 and I had to stop after hole 16 and it had already been quite a bit longer than 4 hours and it was getting dark. Also they charged $30 extra for my wife to ride with me which seemed like a lot.

With the explosion in the price of greens fees in So. Cal. Arrowood has taken it to the next level. I have played this course for the last ten years and in that time the green fee has gone up 300%. It's a great layout. In shop staff were friendly. The starter not so much. Course was in ok shape, but for $120 it should be immaculate. Recommend playing it if you can get it for <$75.

My son told me about Arrowood, so my buddy and I booked it as a Hot Deal...which created the one problem. Late tee time and cart path only led to slow play. We had to pick up on the last hole.

That said, I'm not going to ding the course based on that. The course has added some really cool amenities. We didn't take advantage of The Flight Deck, but it looks like a really cool 'grow the game' experience.

The clubhouse staff and especially the starter, Bob, were very friendly, inviting, and helpful. The week of rain prior to our play meant cart path only and some soggy spots, but the greens were in great shape and we liked the layout. Really can't complain.

Not sure when we'll get a chance to play it again, but looking forward to it.

6.5 hour round with a $120 green fee for a course that's in terrible shape.

For a course of this calibre, the pace of play was completely unacceptable. Considering how appealing the layout was, the fact it took over 5.5hrs to finish really took away from the experience. There was not a single shot all day that we were not waiting on the group in front of us. There should have been a marshal actively encouraging an increase in the pace of play.

3rd hole had a temporary tee box that was 1 foot off the cart path and not even close to being a flat lie, but other than that the tees, fairways and rough and bunkers were in great shape. The greens were slower than I expected and did not have the break that the eye would suggest, but I guess I’m just nitpicking at this point.

Fairway grass not up to standards. Greens are good, roll well and true. Bunker sand compacted, not worth hitting out. Tee boxes are just ok, grass a bit long. Wisconsin courses so much better for the money.

Staff was friendly, practice area was awesome, course was great, and pro shop was well-stocked. Other reviews of this course have been trashing the staff or the pace of play, but I didn't have issues like that on the day I played.

A few fairways are in bad condition which I've never seen. This is really to my surprise as it's been top shape. Im not sure this is due to disease or just bad maintenance, the result is obvious.
