Arrowood Golf Course

Arrowood is hard! And does not offer much forgiveness. Many fairways seem wide from the tee but any shot off line will likely be lost. I did not have control of my game and paid the price. I struggled to keep the ball in play and suffered many penalty shots or otherwise could have scraped together a better score. Not many putts were actually made in our group but the greens rolled true. The layout is challenging and penalizes and pressurizes poor shots more than it rewards good shots. Perhaps the only breather is through holes 9-14 where you are presented some scoring opportunities.

On a hot day like Sunday, we wish we would have seen the cart girl... or at least had drinking water available on the course. Our only chance to hydrate was making the turn and fighting the brunch crowd at the restaurant or flight deck.

Please have a couple of Marshall’s on the weekends. Took almost 6 hours to finish, weather was hot so the slow play made for a brutal day. This is the 3rd time I’ve been out on a Saturday at Arrowood and slow play seems like the norm.

Otherwise, great conditions, love the facility and always a fun layout!

Love the layout and condition of the course. Pace of play is always slow. Fortunately we started early enough to finish. The round took just over 2 hours on the front, over 3 on the back. Slow play does not suit me.

The course was a Nice lay out and good condition. Hire clubs where also very good, full set of cobra and fairly new model. Overall great value for money

It is nice course to play at hot summer. It is comfortable to feel cooler air.

Always a good course to play. Unfortunately, the pace of play was very slow. This is not usual for this course. Two golfers of our foursome had to leave prior to finishing.

This place came recommended and I’d recommend it to others as well. Great atmosphere, fun layout, good conditions. Grill and bar at the turn was excellent.

Pace of play is my only complaint. We had a 3:30 tee time and only got 16 holes in. Figured a 4.5 hour round was plenty, but it’s more like 5 hours I guess. I wasn’t too happy to see two fivesomes in front of us. Wouldn’t expect a course this nice to allow that.

Arrowood Golf Course is a very nice golf course for the money. The front nine is much friendlier than the back nine but overall it is a good, challenging golf course. The back nine has three holes that are questionable: 12, and 17. Both of them have design flaws in my estimation. Needless to say, the course has very nice fairways, generous size, and good greens. The greens are a bit speedy but the player just has to adjust. The biggest problem is the pace of play. It was very slow and it took over five hours to play teeing off at 12:30. The management needs to marshall the course better and keep people moving at a quicker pace. I personally did not enjoy standing on every tee and waiting for play to move along. It was at a turtle's pace. a snail's pace and that affects the players ability to perform. The staff was outstanding, from the starter, the pro shop, and the grill room. We had an excellent hamburger and fries after the round.

Lots of diversity in this course, not to many holes that aren't unique. Pace of play in the afternoon tends to be a problem.

I prepaid cart included. But when I get there starter told me I have to share cart stranger person join tee time. It is first time happening. So I asked golf shop they told me if I want single ride I have to pay cart fee. even couple weeks ago they didn't do this. I don't know why they did like this. I disappointed this time so I don't want to go again by myself. I was really bad feeling.
