Arrowood Golf Course

It is nice course to play at hot summer. It is comfortable to feel cooler air.

Always a good course to play. Unfortunately, the pace of play was very slow. This is not usual for this course. Two golfers of our foursome had to leave prior to finishing.

This place came recommended and I’d recommend it to others as well. Great atmosphere, fun layout, good conditions. Grill and bar at the turn was excellent.

Pace of play is my only complaint. We had a 3:30 tee time and only got 16 holes in. Figured a 4.5 hour round was plenty, but it’s more like 5 hours I guess. I wasn’t too happy to see two fivesomes in front of us. Wouldn’t expect a course this nice to allow that.

Arrowood Golf Course is a very nice golf course for the money. The front nine is much friendlier than the back nine but overall it is a good, challenging golf course. The back nine has three holes that are questionable: 12, and 17. Both of them have design flaws in my estimation. Needless to say, the course has very nice fairways, generous size, and good greens. The greens are a bit speedy but the player just has to adjust. The biggest problem is the pace of play. It was very slow and it took over five hours to play teeing off at 12:30. The management needs to marshall the course better and keep people moving at a quicker pace. I personally did not enjoy standing on every tee and waiting for play to move along. It was at a turtle's pace. a snail's pace and that affects the players ability to perform. The staff was outstanding, from the starter, the pro shop, and the grill room. We had an excellent hamburger and fries after the round.

Lots of diversity in this course, not to many holes that aren't unique. Pace of play in the afternoon tends to be a problem.

I prepaid cart included. But when I get there starter told me I have to share cart stranger person join tee time. It is first time happening. So I asked golf shop they told me if I want single ride I have to pay cart fee. even couple weeks ago they didn't do this. I don't know why they did like this. I disappointed this time so I don't want to go again by myself. I was really bad feeling.

First time here, 7/25, and this place was recommended by others. Friendly pro shop, starter with helpful tips, course booklet. Great bartenders. Majority of course features (tees, fairways, most greens, water, brush, trees, rough, wash) in great shape. Only one bunker hit in my round (slightly hard sand, need more raking, and add layer or 2 of new sand in traps) – others reported bunkers need some care. Recommendation – creating a specific drop location for water hazard on holes #16 and #18. Fabulous cart woman came by multiple times, very pleasant lady. Greens rolled true but several very soft and some had many ball marks not corrected. Great price for a quality experience. Finished in 4:15, carts keep track of excess time. Hole details, GPS, ball washer on cart for convenience, no cooler onboard. Need to bring your own water – no water hosted on course. Great outing and well worth the 1 hour+ trip one-way from OC. Great pairing with 4-some players whom equally enjoyed the round – all of us shot several memorable shots. Will come back and will recommend.

The staff at the course are very nice. I especially liked the starter, he was kind, professional, and had a great personality. The people I was paired with were very nice and we all had a good time. The course is in great condition and a few holes are very difficult.

Cool layout and good conditions, greens are meh. Soggy Poa with lots of ball marks and imperfections. Low trajectory 3 wood hits and stops on green. Would rate more highly but $100 felt steep all things considered.
