Seaview - The Bay Course

We only complaint was the poor conditions of the cart paths.

Great courses. I just wish people would fix their ball marks. It's not that difficult!! Otherwise...thanks, Seaview!! See you next time!!

This is an iconic layout that was on this day uncut and very wet. The greens were long and difficult to judge the pace due to the lack of maintenance, the fairways were wide but got some jumpers due to the length of the grass, I understand it is a difficult task to maintain a gold course but this day things were a bit out of control.

Great Donald Ross layout. A great mix of holes and greens with unique shapes and contour. Only problem was that the greens were running about a six on the stimpmeter and the surfaces were choppy at best. If you made a putt longer than five feet it was luck. And then after the fifth hole we waited at least 5-7 minutes on every tee until we could tee off. Brutally slow.

We were scouting a course for a large event in the area. We had some rain checks to use to pay for the round. We were charged a different rate than the booking rate--a premium was added to the cost and our rain checks were discounted. As well, a woman named Jen questioned the authenticity of them!

The Bay course itself rests on its laurels. If the weather is nice, there are a couple of holes with nice views. Other than that, it is not the most architecturally interesting. Dining in the grill room after the round, the food was mediocre.

Jen's behavior really turned us off from the start, and nothing wowed us after that to compensate for her demeanor.

Classic layout with good mix of long & short par 4's. Only complaint is that 3 out of 4 par 3's were over 180 yards (playing closer to 200 yards each due to winds). Staff anticipates all of your needs in advance and offers directions and advice even before we had a chance to ask. No halfway house after 9 holes but cart girl made several passes during round. Beautiful views of Atlantic City skyline.

Took my clients to seaveiw bay course and we were very disappointed in the conditions of the course tee boxes and bunkers were horrible, at 150 bucks per person I expected better, I play there often and the last few times I played have seen the course deteriorating lack of maintenance am I the only one who is complaining

So I'm not sure about the Bay Course. I haven't played it in a couple years, and it's definitely a good course. But it's not worth the $148 for a Monday tee time. They did give my son a junior rate of $35, but then charged him $30 for a cart. That was absurd. But the worst was the green head flies that constantly bite. We got so many bug bites, we couldn't wait to get off the course. Not sure when we'll be back.

I have played the Seaview Bay course before and had expected the course to be in better condition. The greens were slow (as compared to previous rounds), tee boxes a bit unmanaged and ALL traps looked like they have not been raked in days. The fairways were nice and rough well-kept and playable.

As this was a mid-week round and given the hot temps recently, I can understand the slower greens but the issues with the tee boxes and traps are not acceptable for a course of this caliber (and price range).

The staff was helpful, and place of play was great, which helped make the overall experience good.
