Seaview - The Bay Course

3 holes are dog legs, the rest are all straight. Waste area (fescue) is pretty, but contains high concentrations of creeping vines in the poison ivy family. Purported views of the bay were unimpressive, (unless you're into wind farms and hotel buildings) in Atlantic city in the distance, overlooking what was marsh and bog area. Greens were slow. I played two weeks after the LPGA had an event on the property. Pretty short course from the tips, several blind approach shots and a couple blind tee shots. Tee boxes were in good shape.

I have never felt more unwelcome at a golf course. Not only do they not have women’s tees but then they came around to say we were taking too long even though 2 out of the 4 of us had to use different tees. The cart staff came around to us and said that our pace of play was too slow even though we never had anyone waiting on us. He then continued to say we were only hitting the ball 10 feet and that we had to skip two holes or go talk to the people in the golf shop even though it was closer. Our friends were golfing behind us and they did not make them skip any holes or harass them. The only difference being that we had girls in our group. If you want to feel insulted and discriminated against then definitely check out seaview!

Staff at Seaview are always professional, courteous and friendly. Very manageable course for intermediate golfers. Numerous large bunkers and tall grass areas are the major challenges. Greens, fairways all in great shape. For many golfers that typically play white tees, the Blue/White hybrid tees might be a good choice to lengthen the course and increase rating/slope. A little expensive for my skill level.

So far my best golf experience in the AC area, if you're a decent golfer you can make birdies but be prepared to struggle in the tall grass

Great course! It was a challenge to play. Beautiful atmosphere. Perfect weather to be out in the fresh air.

Very surprised they play an LPGA event here...and in 3 weeks!... greens are slow and bumpy...layout is short and boring but you better hit it straight...nice views of marshes and Atlantic City in distance...definitely NOT country club quality or worth the price that's charged.

Maybe they are getting ready for the upcoming LPGA event, but the rough here made for a miserable round. The rest of the course is in great shape but the grass in the rough was so high that we lost multiple balls that were just off the fairway. Spent a good portion of our round just walking in circles trying to find balls in the rough or around the bunkers.
