Seaview - The Bay Course

About
The Bay Course is one of two 18-hole courses that the Seaview offers. Designed by famed golf course designer, Donald Ross, it was the first course of the resort and it is also the more famous of the two. Over the years, they made renovations but it was eventually restored to Ross' original links design.
The greens are small and undulating and the Atlantic winds definitely play a huge role in the game. The 2nd hole is the signature hole with a yardage of 432 and a par of 4 that can where the ocean serves as a hazard. Seaview's Bay Course also hosts the ShopRite LPGA Classic.

Windy but Excellent
I played the Bay course for the first time on Wednesday. The course was in great shape. Despite winds of up to 40 mph that made the course more challenging than it usually is, we had a fantastic time.
Seaview CC Bay Course! Good Experience.
It's always an enjoyable experience play either the Bay or Pines courses at Seaview CC. You can see the Bay course way nicely groomed and in good condition for mid April. The sand traps were improved and the rough was thick. Greens in great shape…excellent experience and will look forward to returning soon.
Great Day On The BAYSIDE!!!!!
Every year I walk alongside the professional ladies enjoying the Sybase and marveled at the course. This was the first time I had the chance to play it. I would gather some friends to play it on an annual basis I enjoyed it that much.
Poorly Designed
The holes are narrow to begin with and so close together that it makes it very dangerous to play when a bad player is nearby, or on the next hole. Someone in my group almost got hit in the face by a golf ball in his cart while driving away from the green, by a young guy who was hitting his approach shot that went a little to the right from behind a tree. Dangerous. And what was up with the hotel guests walking on the fairways as if it was a park??!! The restaurant was closed too.
Great course but challenging
Overall the course was in good shape and the layout of the bay is great. Definitely a must play. Layout was challenging with narrow fairways and the thickest rough, I've played yet. Some really tough shots you'd have to execute if you're not in the fairway regardless if it was a links course. Looking forward to playing the pines course as we get into the season.
