Seaview - The Bay Course

Considering course was airrated one wk ago I would say course played excellent.

Always great to play Seaview but even better at $39

Perfect weather. Nicely laid out course. Hole #2 supposedly rated best par 4 hole by Ben Hogan. Play was very slow. Course conditions were very good, but keep the ball out of the tough rough.
Always enjoy playing the course.
Only major problem is at the start and finish in getting your golf bag/cart over the highway and back which must be performed by the staff.

I had been wanting to play this course for along time. The whole experience was upscale from the Century old course, the views of Atlantic City, the amenities, and friendly staff. However as a high handicapper, who struggled all day with a bad slice, I could not fine the fairway. When I did find my ball, the rough really made it even more frustrating. My day ended on 18 by slicing my ball out of bounds onto route 9. If you hit the ball straight and avoid trouble, you will really enjoy the course. I do want to play the course again, hopefully I'll better next time. They really make you feel like a member of a prestigious country club. I did not have any problems with flies in late September like others have said. Some of the par 3 are very long 190 yards +, which makes this course even more challenging.

Course was in tournament shape. Played fairly in a 20 mph wind. Fairways supported the ball high enough to not worry about the fats. Greens rolled true with lots of subtle breaks that made a birdie much valued and mostly unexpected. Bunkers in great shape to get a good club bounce. A number of par fours had too much rough to carry off the tee for a short-hitting forward tee player to have a chance to roll them out there. Loved it anyway!

Well groomed - great help - moved ok for being a packed group of golfers

* when my wife and I got at the course the starter had us down for 4 golfers.........waiting to see if company that took my reservation charge for 4............I have a receipt for 2 golfers

Short but pretty challenging course. Keep it on the fairway and it's a piece of cake...in theory. The higher cost is worth the quality and pace of play. Definitely would play again.

The course was in great condition and very challenging. The setting is fantastic with great views of the Atlantic City Skyline across the bay. However, this day the course was extremely overbooked and the pace of play was painfully slow. After 4 1/2 hours we had completed 16 holes and darkness ended our round.

The weather was perfect ! Have played this course over the years and last time wasn't in good shape.. Said I wouldn't play here again but great deal...so went for it and the skyline views and condition were fabulous ! Would definitely play again..even though I love the pines course...just a beautiful resort !

Perfect weather, beautiful views, staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. As stated by another review, the course was like walking on carpet with a thick pad. Greens were receptive but still plenty of speed. What else is there to say? A few green head flies but we had spray. The wife noticed the pro shop had cactus?? bug repellent so if you forget, get some.

The course was great but the only problem was the golf carts. All of them needed brakes. You could not stop the cart even with your foot to the floor. This is the second time this year that I played the course where the carts were actually dangerous. We had a number of crashes into our playing partners carts.

What can I say that hasn't been said before? On the surface, this course looks like it would be easy to master. However, between the fescue, narrow fairways, challenging greens and various prevailing winds, it is certainly a challenge. I've played here a handful of times, and would happily return again and again.
My only complaint is the on-course restroom facilities. Really, it could have been better. Not sure what they do when the LPGA plays here-I would hope that they bring in proper facilities for the event.That's it though. The rest of my experience was more that I could have hoped for.

Beautiful course with some tricky greens. Played it under 4.5 hrs but was somewhat unbearable as we were eaten alive by mosquitoes. My wife and I left with no less than 15 bites each. Prepare with bug spray and youll have a great time.

I arrived 45 minutes before tee time, wanted to hit a few balls before my tee time that was at 8:20.
It was full chaos at the bag station, no carts, they called our name 5 minutes before tee time and gave us a cart, we had to walk to the first tee across the Main Street, could only put before the round, when you wanted to talk to the bag guy,
he ignored you.
The cart girl was very nice, we wanted hot dogs, she had non, said she will bring some, got us hot dogs on the 17th hole,.
The course is not marked well, we played from the Blues, had a hard time finding the tees on the 5th hole, very tiet course, with a lot of golfer yelling 4.
Will not play there again.

5 hour round finished in the dark due to one slow group several holes ahead horse flies were biting while we waited to hit our shots holes are crowded together so there is always another group close by you while playing

My wife and I had gone to see the LPGA Shoprite Classic in June and loved walking around the course. She really wanted to play on the same course as the pros so when we saw a hot deal on Golf Now we eagerly snapped it up. The weather was perfect but bring your bug spray - the nasty flies are everywhere. Greens were fantastic, fairways super, and the rough was rough! The only complaint was the traps - not really dressed for play but can't have everything all the time. Staff was super helpful and pleasant and it was great to be able to shower and change before heading out to dinner.

Greens where in great shape. Some ground under repair on fringes. Pace was very good. We did not really eat.

Nice facility. Extremely courteous and helpfull staff. All around good day of golf.

Great resort course. Pace of play was fantastic. Staff were very professional.
