This course is well worth a visit !

This course was recommended by a work colleague as I was in the Northumberland area on a golfing road trip, and it didn’t disappoint. Greens were fantastic, course was well manicured, a great variety in holes & quite possibly the most daunting signature par 3 hole (6th) you will ever play into a strong wind! Add also the longest par 5 on Mainland Scotland at ~650yds off the back tee & some fantastic coastal sea views & you know you have had a great golfing treat. Will definitely be visiting again when in the area. 8 H’cap

Hope to return!

Great course, round in 3 hours on a Sunday morning. Last minute booking, friendly pro-shop. Open course mainly, loved the 6th. Great condition, I recommend you pay a visit if you're in the area.

Good course but in need of investment

Eyemouth has a very interesting and challenging layout and the course was in generally very good condition for our round with the exception of some greens that looked good but weren't running true or at consistent speed. However, I'm guessing that this might have been partly due to heavy rain the night before we played. The 6th hole is especially challenging if the wind is against you - if you are new to the game and not 100% confident there is no shame in going from the red tee box to limit the jeopardy. The main thing that lets the course down is the condition of the club house - it has excellent views and great potential but is desperately in need of significant investment to bring it back into good order. Perhaps the local authority can put their hand in their pocket to assist?

Great course

Fairways hard and running. Greens were a good pace running true and receptive. We're helpful staff and a nice drink after a great day.

Great course, great condition and spectacular views, breakfast rolls were not of a great standard, rolls In sausage looked deep fat fried rather than grilled .

Welcome return

Having not played Eyemouth for around 10 years it was a thoroughly enjoyable return. Despite being January the course was very much open for business

An interesting challenge but dangerous in places

I played this course with my son both 12 handicappers. The course was in reasonable condition considering the cold weather. Greens were good but there is an issue with players not repairing their pitch marks. Lots of fresh damage. We were kept busy repairing on behalf of others. There are a few blind drives where players are at risk of being struck by flying balls. The fairways are also shared by several holes if the wind catches the ball or just a bad shot. One of us had to take avoiding action with no shout of "fore" from the guilty party. So all in all it was an interesting day out with the short sixth challenge and the longest hole too, but we won't be back.

Eyemouth

A wee bit wet in places very understandable with all the rain we have had, greens running excellent for the time of year low sun made it difficult to see the ball at times, first time my wife's played it really enjoyed the course, bacon and sausage rolls were sublime.
