Alford Golf Club

About
Bordered by the dominant Bennachie hills and Scotland's lavish scenery, Alford Golf Club runs an ongoing program for tree management, giving the golf course the luster of varied species of trees throughout the par-69 run.
Alford is challenging to golfers of all ages and ability without being too physically demanding. The club was originally designed in 1982 as a nine-hole course, but in 1992, nine more holes were added to make it a full 18 hole Scottish golf course.
Measuring to nearly 5,500 yards from the tips, the course may play short, but will require accuracy and solid course management to go low. Featuring low green fees and the service and maintenance one would expect from a golf course in this historic region, Alford has made its name in a short time and is a strong inclusion to any Scotland golf vacation package.

Short Course with Devilish Greens
Enjoyed my first outing to this course. The length is short but you require accuracy from the tee and the greens are small with virtually no straight putts. I was in excellent condition throughout. The members and staff were very friendly and we enjoyed great food options before our round. Will play again at the right price point.
Great course
Alford golf course was one of the best condition courses I have played this year, from tee boxes , fairways and greens that are outstanding condition, pace of play was slow due to a seniors 4 ball match, Due to the location of the 10th tee I was able to stop for a refreshment at the club house, which allowed the course to clear,, members I spoke with at the club made you feel very welcome, and made sure that you were enjoying your game,
Our golf
Supper golf course, we so enjoyed our round.
Four golfers and we all agreed it was a hidden gem.
Not the longest of par fours witch is great for the average golfer. Par threes are a good challenge the 16th is stunning.
If you haven’t played it then you should pop it on your bucket list.
Our day out
What a great golf course a real hidden gem.
Course was in great condition, greens were spot on ,ball run true.
Overall we had a great day and definitely look forward to playing it again.
Keep It Straight!!
Trees everywhere, when you go off line it makes you think seriously about playing safe and keeping the ball down the middle.
A good challenge on a course that is always in fantastic condition.
Alford sunday
This is a very good set up and enjoyable to play warm welcome and friendly staff
Great course
Green keeping staff have to be applauded after the recent weather they have the course in fantastic condition. Also seem to be a very friendly team at alford. Would definitely recommend to anyone to come and play there certainly puts other courses around the area to shame when you compare the condition it’s in.
This course is in fantastic condition
Would recommend this course to anyone. Fully enjoyed our round.
Good course
2nd time playing course this year, course overall is good, well maintained
Club member’s we’re friendly.
Shop closed both times which is a bit of a pain If you forget juice or need anything last minute.
Would recommend & will play again
Nice place for a round of golf friendly staff and good food on offer all in all a good day out now if only I could sort out my swing.
Excellent course
First time playing Alford for many years, it’s in great condition and they seem to have everything squared away. Some fun holes, nothing too challenging (in theory anyway!).
The only negative was that the course layout seems to have changed, for the better, but the GPS apps our group were using hadn’t tracked the changes meaning we were flying blind. There are range markers clearly positioned on every hole so not a big deal.
One of our party did manage to snap a driver in the practice nets before our round!! Raw power!
Great round, great course and would play there again.
