Oldmeldrum Golf Club
About
For many years a nine hole course, the course was extended to its present eighteen holes between 1987 and 1989. A par 70 course, measuring just under 6200 yards, it presents a varied and challenging test of golf, requiring accurate play off the tee and a good short game on the approaches to the small and tricky greens. The course has few hidden hazards, and what you see in front of you is what you have to conquer.
The first and last holes, containing slight doglegs, are much more testing than they would appear from the card, and if you can start and finish with two fours, you can be well satisfied. The Par 3 11th hole looks more intimidating than it really is, but requires a clean shot over the water. If you duff it, you are likely to be dropping another ball at the side of the pond.

Oldmeldrum
Good golf course and will definitely be back in the summer
The welcome
From arriving in the car park to leaving, everyone that we came across was friendly.
The professional actually welcomed us by our name and had time to chat away to us before and after our game.
Highly recommend this course and we will return
Thanks
Gary and Clare
Lovely course and very well kept
A lovely course but very busy and quite slow play. The benefit being I had time to enjoy the views and take my time on the tricky greens
Excellent course.
Played on a Friday evening, didn't have to wait for anyone else fine and quite at the time. Nice mix of easy and hard holes. Course was in excellent condition. Most of the greens were quite slow but a few were fast so hard to gauge. Overall great course and very well priced compared to others in the north east. Will definitely play here again.
The course was in great condition green's very true staff very friendly great day out
Course was quiet
Course was very quiet for a Sunday afternoon, professional was nice and friendly and Course was in good condition but greens were very slow, biggest disappointment was the clubhouse and facilities were all locked up when we finished at 5 10pm which i found shocking as there are no toilets on the Course and my wife and i were both needing the toilet, it's a good job we changed our shoes in the car or else we would have had a lengthy trip back to pick them up, this will definitely stop us from coming back
Typical winter golf
Overall a fair game for winter golf a good effort from staff even if the weather is not helpful just now but normally a very nice place to play
Brilliant course
1st time playing Oldmeldrum golf course, and it was in fantastic condition. The club pro was very informative and helpful. There is a couple of holes that you cross over with an over hole, but everyone was very patient and polite, so it's not an issue. I would definitely play again. Hidden gem of a course, greens immaculate.
Good value but a little friendly crossfire
With 1&18 and 15&16 fairways crossing it can be a little confusing for the first timer, but our admonishments were friendly enough. Plenty af variety, with good fairways and greens in excellent condition considering the drought.
Probably better played when quiet, as a hectic first hole isn't ideal for the scorecard!
