Oldmeldrum Golf Club

1st time playing Oldmeldrum golf course, and it was in fantastic condition. The club pro was very informative and helpful. There is a couple of holes that you cross over with an over hole, but everyone was very patient and polite, so it's not an issue. I would definitely play again. Hidden gem of a course, greens immaculate.

With 1&18 and 15&16 fairways crossing it can be a little confusing for the first timer, but our admonishments were friendly enough. Plenty af variety, with good fairways and greens in excellent condition considering the drought.

Probably better played when quiet, as a hectic first hole isn't ideal for the scorecard!

Well maintained course with some scenic views. Be aware of holes crossing over and double green. Pylons also in play on some holes.

I really like this course, it’s a good all round course for any handicap. For me the greens were slightly on the slow side but that’s a personal choice.

Would highly recommend & will be returning.

First time here on what was a French day.

Very welcoming staff, the course is in no way a monster but laid out for a really enjoyable round. In great condition with lovely scenery, it has some indications but is not a challenging walk.

Weather was great,course was in excellent condition and greens were fast.Would recommend this course to anyone.

Enjoyable round of golf, course conditions very good considering the winter weather that has caused so many problems at other North East golf courses.

Overall course conditions where good except the greens, can’t say if it was due to recent weather but certainly not running true, however throughly enjoyed the course and would recommend trying it out.

Played here while up on a work course, and wanted to get a round in whilst in the area, oldmeldrum did not disappoint, play off 19 myself, but this course had a bit of everything for me, stunning scenery, course was really well kept, challenging greens, one of the nicest courses iv played. The lad in the shop as well was a good laugh and sound as anything

The course layout is much better these day except for the 1st and 18th sharing a fairway . The trees lining the fairways are now more of a hazard as they are much bigger . For the time of year, the course was in good condition and would be better if the greens had some better attention , cut and rolled . I used every club in the bag .Enjoyable 3hrs 10 min to get round .

Second time playing here and it's ace, cracking layout and the clubs hop guy was really friendly. We will return for sure. Watch out for power lines on the 18th tee as I drove off and hit the wire hahahaha. Great course and value for money

Tee time was double booked again. This happened the last time we was out 2 x at 10.52

With both groups booking through golf now Greens a quite poor, but I get it’s start of the season so they will improve
