Peterhead Golf Club - The Old Course

Course was in really good condition. Would happily come back and play again? But pace of play was fairly slow.

Bit of a walk to the club but very welcoming when you arrive. The course starts a little bit straight forward after the first . After hole 6 you're into the dunes and the course really becomes a gem. The vies along the coast are excellent and the couse is a test. Brilliant course will definitely try and get back. Thoroughly recommend this,must play course.

Booking through GolfNow, at £25 this course will be hard to beat on value. The condition for October was very impressive, conditions you’ll simply not find on parkland courses at this time of year. The fairways were running faster than some greens I’ve played on recently, that’s saying something! So impressed, a hidden gem. Already planing a return visit for next year. A must play if you’re visiting Aberdeen or the surrounding areas. It will not disappoint, even on a rainy Sunday!

It nay seem a little pedestrian for the 1st 4 holes, but wow dies it wake up .

Not the biggest links fan but I could happily play this course every week and be a happy man!! Really tough conditions with the wind but just added to the experience!! Pro shop well stocked and staff brilliant. Catering and bar excellent really can’t recommend the place enough!! Will be back for sure

Played Peterhead with my son and from the. Moment we arrived we were treated like special guests..the course is fantastic one of our best links experiences in Scotland to date ..loved every minute of it and would play it again in a heartbeat ..thank you Peterhead for making our trip so special..

We played Peterhead golf course several times when on holiday in Aberdeenshire last week and found it to be a lovely, underrated course, receiving a friendly welcome from both staff and members alike. I'd recommend Peterhead to anyone who is in the area.

Wow is the correct word. Amazing course, fantastic conditions and a warm welcome. This was one of the most enjoyable courses I have played this year and will definitely return.

Play the golf, enjoy the views. Interact with the friendly pro and then go over the bridge and get some wonderful smoked salmon.

A very enjoyable day..The first time we had played a course where we had to park one side of a river and take our clubs and shoes accross a bridge. Very friendly welcome from the Secretary and staff. Dont judge the course on the first 3 holes. Once we played away from the club house on hole 4 the course came into its own. Not long but a good test of golf and some very good holes. Great views of the coast and sea. Hopefully we will get back before too long for another round. Great value.
