Pelham Bay at Pelham/Split Rock Golf Course

we teed off at 2:30 pm and after 2 holes it started to rain.

we asked for a rain check at the pro shop but they couldnt offer and they said i must get it from golfnow.com.

I would appreciate if you could let us have the credit please.

The next time these courses are going to run 3 Outings then how about a Heads-Up ??

My tee time was for 3:04pm and I hit my first tee shot an hour later at 4pm. Ok I'll go with the flow I said except that after 1 hole I got backed up but the Starter told me I could try the other course..Well I got there and was told you can't play here we have an another outing !!! ...

I saw a lot of signs in Korean and thought maybe Trump & Kim are golfing to hammer out a Nuclear deal.. A Korean guy with 3 ladies invited me to join them so this looked promising though the ladies didn't speak English though they did smile a lot and chattered among themselves having fun. Another hour and 3 holes later I was eating spicy Korean food by invitation at a table they had set up.

Now it's 5pm and I'm finally teeing off on the 4th hole...So after 3+ hours I finally finish my Front Nine..I go over to the other course to play my back Nine, join up with the Starter (who was now off duty) as all 3 Outings were mostly done and the 2 of us finish with a few brilliant shots each before dark.. ... I'm happy got in my 18 Holes with laughs and spicy food ... And so it turned out to be All Good !!!

Good course but some holes were severely beat up in the fairways.

I really like both courses. I play split rock last time and enjoyed it as well as Pelham. However the time it took to play both courses was very long, 5.5 to 6 hours. That's a long day!

Can you get rangers out on the course to improve the time on the round?

Otherwise I have a good time when I play these courses.

I am not a good player but the pace was extremely slow and no rangers came by to up the pace . Too many golfers were allowed to play without tee times.

Good course conditions, layout is average, staff friendliness is average, off course amenities are limited , and the grumpy lady at the bar usually ignores paying customers who are trying to get the promotional drinks. A little smile and have a good round would be nice.

Your guys booked me the wrong course and nasty staff. All staff were lying everywhere. I'm not gonna play this course's in my life. Not gonna recommend nobody's

This course offers a little bit for everyone. For the beginner golfer it is flat with few slopes. For the more advanced golfer you are granted the opportunity to be aggressive and pin seek. All in all it is a great course.

This course is in poor shape. Previous rain did not help. But just like many public courses run by civil servants nothing appeared to being done to get course in decent shape.

No ball washers at any hole. Middle of April, where could they be hiding. Started was inside hiding because it was cold. A real mess, maybe for those getting a discount Its ok.

But not for regular fees.

Don't go!

No starter, no rangers, course in horrible shape. Price is too high.

Everyone had the same idea! Extremely crowded. Very slow. Was supposed to tee off at 1:36. Got off after two and played 13 holes.
