Dyker Beach Golf Course

They over book tee times so no matter when you play it’s at least a six-hour round. We showed up to play twilight on a Saturday and our round didn’t start until an hour and thirty minutes after our scheduled tee time. They are understaffed and do a poor job managing the pace of play as well as the course conditions.

I've played here before and it took about 35 minutes to get out, but after that it picked up. Yesterday was a 6 hour round. slow the whole way. Course was in good condition and staff was friendly. Just frustratingly slow. Also no hot food at the turn after 3pm, which stinks.

For the money you could go play any other course and it be more enjoyable. It too over 3 hours to play 9 holes, I won't be playing here again.

It’s Dyker. Slow, poorly maintained greens and just very very average.

Dyker beach is a hidden gem ! Very challenging but designed so the average golfer can enjoy themselves and not get to frustratedl. I highly recommend

The course is OK. Turf conditions are average, which it to be expected since the course gets a huge amount of play. Pace is always just OK because of the amount of play. Always very busy when the weather is fair.

Pace was so slow I didn’t finish my round. Also the hos didn’t have the correct holes sequence. This course change the order of the holes sometime ago and it seems that the system has not updated.

Nice layout some of the holes reminded me of Bethpage. Best part are the par 3s long and challenging with some elevation changes. Unique greens as well but slow. Pace of play was slow started on back but then front 9 was better. Staff friendly good value will be back!

Third time playing in a week, was pleasantly surprised that the course was in such good shape, overall good, but the bunkers need to be improved dirt wise.

Greens had been aerated likely a couple of weeks before and no mention of this in the pro shop. Some were in overall poor shape, and all were bumpy and slow. No rangers either, so the pace of play even on a slow golf day due to weather, was slow. Dyker continues to be all about the catering business, so despite the of the graciousness of the few employees, it was a forgettable day.

The course is in a great location if you like golf and live in Brooklyn. The course do not have Driving Range or practicing facility. The Grill Bar was great, had all i Need and the Pro shop, have all thing you need if you forget somethings. On the Greens a saw a lot of trees parts that fall on the greens that the ball move a lot.

Played in 3 and a half hours early on friday morning,that seemed odd. Greens were healing up pretty good after being airated. Course looked good as a whole.

I love this course. I played after rain, cold weather, few people there, played by myself in just over 3 hours! Course is in good shape but greens were air-raided.

The pace of play wasn’t as bad as I had anticipated. Started late but benefited from a quick 4some in front of us. They spent a good deal of time waiting for the group of kids in front of them. Some holes are bit cramped but can’t beat the location which is why they get to charge what they do.
