Known locally as "Carmuirs," Falkirk Golf Club is a parkland layout with slight undulation. It's a 6,230-yard par-71 course from the back tees.

Falkirk will undergo a significant renovation in the coming years. David J. Russell, a PGA Professional and golf course architect, has made several recommendations on improving the layout that will be incorporated into the course.

New practice facilities have also been added: four practice bays, a practice putting green and "short game" area for pitching and bunker play. A fully-stocked pro shop is on site, managed by resident professional Stewart Craig.

Good Greens, Some Interesting Holes

Pleasant round at Falkirk Carmuirs on a Sunday. A bit busy so slower pace of play, but a beautiful day so no problem hanging around at some holes. Greens very true and good for end of season. Some bunker faces in poor condition and course overall could do with a bit more investment to tidy it up a bit, but is a good layout and needs some creativity to navigate the hazards.

Views of Falkirk Wheel and busy railway keeps things interesting when your golf isn’t so good!

Beautiful Condition

A mature gem of a course. The greens are very fast. Everything immaculate. Only complaint is that it's a bizarre layout, but don't let that put you off enjoying it.

Great course. - very hilly

Really enjoyable round of golf. It’s a long walk and very hilly. I’d maybe recommend a buggy.

Too busy

They don’t stagger tee times enough, as a result I was 20 mins late teeing off and had to walk off after taking an hour through the first 4 holes!! Staff were only redeeming factor.

A fine track, even in the rain

this is an excellent course for people in the area to enjoy an interesting and varied layout.

My only comment for the club is to allow visitors will low handicaps to play from the back tees

ottimo riscaldamento

buonissimo rapporto qualità/prezzo , non male per un 18 buche, bello anche il campo pratica un po in salita, peccato però che non c'era possibilità di acquistare palline per la pratica.

simpatico campo, ben tenuto , bel parchegglio ampio , segreteria gentile.

Abbaimo solo avuto difficoltà per poter mangiare qualcosa la bar , rifiutati per la premiazione della gara mattutina.

niente di grave, consiglio.

My experience

Being the first time i have played the course the scorecard could have a map on the back of it showing all the holes and dog legs right and left which other courses provide especially for newcomers. I enjoyed playing the course and would play it again. If i could say that the signage between the holes guiding players to the next hole could be improved and the tee off areas could be more level. Staff were welcoming and friendly and i would recommend the course to friends
