Falkirk Golf Club

About
Known locally as "Carmuirs," Falkirk Golf Club is a parkland layout with slight undulation. It's a 6,230-yard par-71 course from the back tees.
Falkirk will undergo a significant renovation in the coming years. David J. Russell, a PGA Professional and golf course architect, has made several recommendations on improving the layout that will be incorporated into the course.
New practice facilities have also been added: four practice bays, a practice putting green and "short game" area for pitching and bunker play. A fully-stocked pro shop is on site, managed by resident professional Stewart Craig.

Played Falkirk Golf
Played course on Thursday, course excellent as usual, great price good people recommend big time.
Thanks.
Decent for the price
Paid 15, can't complain. Decent greens, some good holes, it won't blow you away but you can't complain either.
Great value but poor pace of play
Great wee course. Really friendly staff, nice clubhouse with good food, and course in great condition. Only negative was the poor pace of play due to a 2 ball in front of us who would have been better off at a pitch and putt, and a 3 ball in front of them who took 10 mins to clear each green.
Booked around 2 weeks in advance for my son and I for 2-26pm, arrived just after 2pm checked in and down to the 1st tee for 2-20pm,one guy sitting waiting to tee off, how wrong was I another 12 guys appeared, they started with two 4 balls a 3 ball then a 2 ball, we didn't get to tee off until nearly 30mins latter, still had a good day but so frustrating
Great Value for money
Fantastic condition and greens were immaculate, huge credit to the green keeping staff. And at £15pp genuinely brilliant value for money, will 100% be back.
Was Expecting More
Not a bad course greens in great condition however I feel I could do with a little TLC. It has a good mixture of holes and elevation changes. Probably would play again if I could get a hot deal.
A pure gem
I played the course for the first time on Monday 16th May in awful weather but was absolutely delighted with the course and the rain became insignificant. It is a pure gem and the best value I’ve had this year by a country mile (£16 through Golf Now). I was welcomed by a lovely gentleman in the wee clubhouse/pro shop. His smile made the effort of going out seem worthwhile. I’ll be back without a doubt.
Nice day out
Nice friendly staff and treated very well , will definitely be back ⛳️⛳️⛳️
Falkirk golf club
Excellent course ,good test for all golfers ,you need to look at course map as you can get lost
Course in reasonable condition
Good value at £20 and the starter was friendly and helpful. Although the clubhouse was open, the bar and kitchen were closed at 2pm?
An interesting layout. Would help to have a course layout on the card. Couple of greens in poorer condition than the rest, but could be expected for this time of year.
Overall a good experience and would recommend.
Very disappointed
The welcome from the outset was poor, the pro took an age to look up from his screen to acknowledge us and couldn't work the card machine. We asked for a small favour regarding our time and were met with a firm no which felt unreasonable given how quiet the tee was.
The course itself was in very poor condition. The tees were a mess, the fairways were ok in parts but the greens and fringes were awful. Generally there were parts of the course dug up with and a long way from being presentable. It felt like a poorly maintained local authority course.
On return to the clubhouse the bar was closed and there was no option for a coffee, juice or any food... nor any thought that this was out of the ordinary.
Not a welcoming place to visit and a poor way to spend a morning. I will not be back and will be asking for a refund.
