Dating back to 1891, when the original inspection of the land was conducted for Braehead Golf Club, the course is a par 70 measuring 6,053 yards. The club prides itself on its friendliness, claiming to be the domain of ordinary working men and women.
The golf course at Braehead is filled with a variety of challenging holes offering wonderful vistas of the surrounding landscape. It's one of the best tests of golf in the area, but remains friend to both seasoned and amateur golfer alike.

Bargain day out
Course is still drying out after a wet winter a two hole diversion is currently in place but enjoyed our day a few of the greens are still well sanded due to being cored but never affected the game to much got a golf now deal so on the whole a decent course and round of golf.
Braehead - a wonderful experience.
recently had the pleasure of playing at this golf course, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the shop assistant, who promptly checked us in and made sure everything was in order. It was a nice touch that we were also asked whether we needed winter mats or trolleys, which showed good attention to detail and consideration for players’ needs during the season.
The course itself was in great condition—well maintained and a genuinely beautiful place to play. It offers a good mix of holes, with some challenging sections that keep things interesting without being overly punishing.
The only slightly confusing aspect was the winter hole rotation. It differed from the usual summer layout, and we weren’t aware of this beforehand. While we did manage to play all 18 holes, the change in routing made navigation a bit unclear at times.
That said, it didn’t take away from what was otherwise a very positive round. I’d happily return and would recommend it to others looking for a scenic and well-kept course with a bit of challenge.
Winter Course
Course is in fantastic condition for this time of year and it’s a lovely set up how the staff and groundskeepers have set up for a 12 hole course. Was a lovely round today. Highly recommend.
Picturesque gem of a course
First time played it. Dry but windy conditions. Very good test of golf. Par 3s are exceptional, all beautiful holes. Nice variability of holes from down to up the hill. Views surrounding of the ochil hills and Wallace monument. Will definitely play again..

페어웨이나 잔디상태가 관리잘되어있어 좋습니다. 직원들도 처음방문이라 잘도와주고 프렌드리합니다. 즐거운 라운딩이었네요. 단지 트롤리가 오래된 구식이라 새로운 밧데리 구동 트롤리로 바꾸면 좋겠네요

Course great but staff terrible
Course was in good condition, but shop keeper accused myself of stealing golf balls, won't be back. Terrible attitude, reported to manager.
Course is in fantastic condition, greens are top class . Couple of hills to climb but the views are more than worth it, pro was very helpful and friendly, only downside was I was driving so couldn't sit out in the sun with a pint afterwards, well worth a visit

Really nice course. First time here but will definitely come back. Was busy with a competition in progress but spoke to a couple of members and they seemed really friendly and helpful. They offered to let me play through as a single player. Views are great and the practice area was brilliant
