Known locally as "Carmuirs," Falkirk Golf Club is a parkland layout with slight undulation. It's a 6,230-yard par-71 course from the back tees.

Falkirk will undergo a significant renovation in the coming years. David J. Russell, a PGA Professional and golf course architect, has made several recommendations on improving the layout that will be incorporated into the course.

New practice facilities have also been added: four practice bays, a practice putting green and "short game" area for pitching and bunker play. A fully-stocked pro shop is on site, managed by resident professional Stewart Craig.

Excellent course in good condition

We enjoyed our round. 3 amateur golfers of average ability but the course was in good condition and green ran well. It is a good test and a fair test and some really nice holes.

First time playing

What a cracking course this is ....played long, shapely and undulating (not to bad) .... great holes with blind greens.

Course was in great condition (will be minted in full season) Practice facilties perfect. Staff more than helpful. Value for money ... plenty parking. Course has a feel about it...traditional feel. I can't wait to go back

Casual day

Course was in good condition but still needs a few weeks heat to help growth. Some challenging holes both in terms of layout and length. We will be returning.

Very average course

Standard course - wouldnt pay more thwn 15 quid for it. Place was soaked, greens very bobbled and sanded. Had to play off the front tees which was also a bit annoying. Net out of order before starting too.
