First time in a few years playing the course, the whole course was in excellent condition. The greens were some of the best we've played in a number of months.
Nice course in excellent condition
Flat with tree lined fairways with short grass under the trees so you can find your ball
One of the best
Normally book directly with the club but due to a late night booking I booked through GolfNow. The course is unbelievably well looked after. The greens and fairways in mint condition and not at any point do you find yourself walking through soggy patches of grass! Without doubt the best in the area!
1st time playing this golf course I work up there regularly want to play it
Again the booking service double booked me instead of 2 players
Course was in good condition greens excellent
One thing wasn’t keen on was greens right in front of tee offs for next hole not confusing and public walking over the course at different times but overall I enjoyed playing would play again and recommend it to friends
Great condition
Played the course a year ago. Course remains a tricky course with a nice layout and tricky par 3s.
Greens were in great condition.
Staff at golf shop were very helpful and accommodating.
I will return.
Falkirk Tryst Golf Club
This is a very flat but not an easy course from the medal tees. Unfortunately there is a few public rights of access which cross the course at various points and this causes significant problems for players with regards to dog walkers, cyclists etc. The course is in good overall condition, greens very good. Not the most scenic because it's surrounded on all sides with housing but can't blame the course for this. Played at this course on and off for decades but the right of access paths are unbearable these days which is a shame.
Members attitude
The course is good pro shop good well stocked
One member had a go at my grandson 1st on a golf course for not raking bunker my fault as I did not keep a eye on him that was fine and justifiable but next member who was out with his playing in football shorts and shirt got upset because we missed out the hole he was playing on and decided we could go quicker decided. To have go very rude but guess that’s what you get from people with nose in the won’t be back
Great Day
Course looking really good .We loved our day out and will be back
Winter Greens
Altho winter greens and raining that stopped by the back 9 I enjoyed my round (first time I’ve broke 90) actually said to myself walking off the 18th that I’m looking forward to coming back when the real greens are open in the summer!!!
The real greens looks fantastic and look testing (there goes my 90) so roll on the summer
Great value.
Arrived to find only one winter green on. The course was in great condition. Highly recommend playing this course. Visitors can also hire a buggy for only £20. Will definitely be back.
Great Course
Thoroughly enjoyed our round. Course was exceptional considering all the bad weather recently. Members and staff were friendly and helpful. Some tricky par 3s and some tight fairways. Not a walkover at all. Couple of choke points on the course but pace is pretty good. Definitely be back.
Great dsy
The Tryst was in very good condition considering the weather that had been over the last few weeks. Greens were really good for this time of the year.
Visitor
Having recently moved to the area Ii was thinking about getting a membership. However, although the course is great and it’s local I’m not sure it’s worth the money to become a member, the joining fee for me is the sticking point.
Great course though and I’ve met some great lads that are members whilst playing.
I’ll be back but not as a member I don’t think.
