Falkirk Tryst Golf Club

We are a couple of oldies and love coming here as it is flat and easy walking. The course is always in good condition and the greens, particularly, are first rate at the moment, fast and true. The only thing that spoiled our day was the weather which was damp most of the way and pretty wet by the end though we soldiered on to the last hole. The pro was a good lad, very pleasant and chatty and I even bought a brolly. A good time and a place to be recommended.

Very warm and dry period but greens in good condition (except for some bird peck holes). Fairways good as well. Just the tees that aren’t up to scratch, bit bare and untidy.

Course has changed quite a bit, maybe to speed up play. Quite a few bunkers gone, gorse/bushes cleared, miss the pond!

First time playing this course, and certainly not the last. Great Layout, great facilities, and a warm welcome on arrival. A few off the members were very helpful regarding course management, which helped a lot . The course is in fantastic condition, the greens especially. So, I’m looking forward to returning for my next round.

Course is relatively flat so not too hard on the legs, with five par threes and no par fives off the yellow tees. Fairways are good and greens were very consistent with some subtle borrows we didn't spot..

Starter gave us some friendly advice in how to find our way round.

Course in great condition & Greens superb for time of year.A must play if your in the area.

Loved the greens and fairway conditions, clubhouse was friendly and the pro was helpful as it was our first time playing there. £4.95 for our chips and chicken curry at the end of play topped off a brilliant day out, would highly recommend.

course in excellent condition although slow play marred the round

Was a very busy course . Golfers . Dog walkers . Walkers . Jake balls this course had it all . Was ok for a round but i wont be back .

Frequent visitor to Falkirk Tryst, as always course was in excellent condition.

Pace of play was ok until the 8th hole, member came rushing up to us asking to play through as he was playing a tie (2 ball), explained they wouldn’t hold us up so we happily obliged. From the 8th hole onwards, they held us up on every single shot until we had given up & walked off on the 15th.

A good course ruined by this. Pro Shop was closed when we had walked off or this would have been explained at time.

Decent course, greens were playing well for April. Worth a visit

Falkirk Tryst is a good flat course and caters for all abilities. The course mainly was in a good condition however the greens were very bumpy and to be honest could have done with a good watering . Pro was very friendly and the shop was well stocked. It was disappointing to see the clubhouse very quiet but the bar staff were very friendly.

Very flat, largely featureless, and rather repetitive. Greens had recently been cored and sanded, so it’d be unfair to judge them, but it would’ve been nice to have been warned of the fact prior to playing. Completed a 3 ball in 3h15m, which didn’t seem quick enough for the power walkers behind, who, at times, played their shots almost simultaneously.
