Great course near to Glasgow southside
This convenient located course is nicely laid out, although quite hilly. In really good condition although greens had just been treated so they were a bit on the rough side. Great layout with some really interesting holes and tricky par 3’s. Fabulous views over the Clyde Valley to the Campsie Hills and Ben Lomond. We’ll be back.
Tough course, hilly
First time on Kirkhill, course was in excellent condition, fairways, greens all excellent, a few very challenging holes mainly due to being up hill. Very windy at the highest point of the course, but great views. I'll be back when its less windy.
Great condition for January
First round out for the year, course was in good condition, solid underfoot but preferred lies from rough in play.
Shop pro was very friendly and outlined a few things, - work around on Hole 3.
Some cracking views from up on the hills and the holes are varied.
Will play again later in the year as it could be a completely different course in the dry.
Would recommend.
nice little golf course
Not played this in 25 years and go to say pleasantly reminded of what a decent little track this is. Nostalgic however some good holes and the picturesque 6th ( sure used to be the old cliff 7th shot before course changes), course in surprisingly good shape for nearly OCT. Had a lovely afternoon weather wise which made it Tshirt enjoyable
would come back and got the deal for £16 each golfer as part of 4 ball. Wouldn't pay more than that to be honest. Pricing would be about right and consistent for quality of course.
for a local hit. Well worth the visit
Nice course, forgot just how hilly it was.
Excellent condition throughout. Previously played using an electric trolley but used a push trolley this time which made my game more tiring but still very enjoyable. Lots of nice varied holes which I like. I just need to get fitter. Great value for money off peak and staff very friendly. Thank you.
Good test of golf on enjoyable course
Good test of golf verywell kept golf course enjoyable layout
Greens
Shocking wasnt notified greens had been holotined and basically like putting on a bunker waste of time and money
Great course
Real good course. It does have a few hills which can be tough but if you drive well this course is a dream. Some great par 3s as well.
Make sure you take your time at each hole and have a look around, it was quiet today so I did and I’m glad as they have a few sand traps and water creeks you don’t see until you are up
Close.
A good round of golf
It was a good dry day but even so it was still a good round of golf as well
Very enjoyable
really enjoyed the course great layout helpful staff will be back thanks
Very enjoyable round
Kirkhill was in great condition and a very enjoyable course, with enough good challenges along the way. I was playing by myself and one of the members Greg Rennie let me join him on the first tee. Greg was a superb host and gave me all the information needed as a first timer on the course. The par 3 7th hole is very scenic and has a 100ft drop from tee to green and definitely one of the feature holes on the course. At only £14 for my round it was an absolute steal and I'll be returning to Kirkhill during my next visit to Scotland. Carl from New Zealand
Great greens!
Nice course, great greens had feed on them this time though so a bit slower, played the week before and they were superb.course is a bit hilly hence its name so if you can get a buggy!
