Very good value at £40 per round

The course layout is really enjoyable as all the holes are very varied - challenging course without being overly difficult for decent amateur golfer. Can be windy due to location but sheltered from the trees on a lot of holes.

Clubhouse serves great food. Only slight snag is the course is a bit out the way up in the countryside but once there this adds to the tranquility and surrounding views.

Would definitely recommend playing if getting a round for £35-40!

Bonnyton Course in Great Condition

The course was a lot of fun. Some challenging holes and some easier ones. The condition of the fairways and greens was of a high standard. Would highly recommend as it's competitively priced compared to few around the area.

A gem of a course

This is my 5th time playing bonnyton and it hasn't disappointed, usually play in winter months, due to the recent weather the course is very different, greens fast and true, tough pins, bunkers immaculate, tees immaculate, fabulous course, definitely be back

Excellent course, amazing condition. Pace of play was extremely slow

Excellent course in amazing condition. Would definitely return although got stuck behind a visiting charity event and took 1 hour 40 mins to play the first 4 holes. Took any enjoyment out of it

Had 11 people on the one tee box at one specific time, it queued back that much

Winter tees

The permanent winter tees. Large size were excellent. Pass on our thanks to green keepers. What a great idea no messing about on a 2M square mat.

Immaculate Fairways

Guy in the Pro Shop was very welcoming and friendly, happy to chat away and tell me about the course.

I played in winter rules so using a mat off the tee boxes and fairways, for winter the fairways were immaculate so I’d love to play during the summer. Only gripe is that I couldn’t bring my trolley anywhere near the green but luckily there was only a 2 ball a few holes behind me so wasn’t holding anyone up, so if you’re playing in winter rules and can do so just bring your carry/stand bag to avoid clogging up play.

Lots of nice wide fairways, some with lots of undulation and a few challenging greens due to their small size.

For winter rules I felt it could have been cheaper but would be a bargain at that price in the summer as the course was immaculate. A good sign of a well kept course is walking off with dry feet and clean shoes at the end of your round which happened to me.

Friendly members too, met a few who were happy to chat away during play which made me feel more than welcome. Would highly recommended and am desperate to come back again once the weather is nicer.

Great course.

Great course. Friendly members. I’ll play it again.

I’ve given Bonnyton 4.5 stars.

They have felled a lot of the trees on the back 9.

There will be a reason for this. However, as a visitor it does distract from the course look and feel. It now feels much more exposed. Still good.
