St. Croix National Golf Course is a championship course that is tucked away amongst rolling, wooded hills. This scenic course is one of western Wisconsin's hidden gems. The undulating landscape covered with mature trees can seem intimidating but the layout was designed with spacious fairways and bailout areas that act as an excellent balance to the more challenging elements. The well conditioned greens putt fast and true, acting as a perfect complement to the beautiful scenery. There are strategically placed bunkers and water hazards coming into play but it is the topography will truly test your accuracy as well as a variety of other skills. St. Croix National G.C. also boasts a driving range perched high above a valley that collects the practice shots. It is the perfect preparation for the challenges of the golf course.

Terrible stuff

Brutal course. Don’t come here. The course is in terrible condition. The tee boxes are dirt, fairways are dirt and weeds, the greens are like Velcro. Don’t come here

Saint Croix National is a dream course. From the staff to the clubhouse to the course itself. All around fantastic round of golf. Shout out to the manager, Brandon. He will go out of his way to make sure you have a great experience. They have new golf carts and they are really nice. This is a must play course! 10/10!

Best course I’ve played this year

I’ve played a couple of public courses this year in California, Washington, Florida, and my home state of Georgia and this course all around has been my favorite. Course it self was in great shape, carts were very nice, was able to keep up with the U.S Open Leaderboard from the cart. Club house is brand new with 4 large Sim Bays and a Putt Putt course for the kids. Also has dinner there and food at the club house was also great. Would highly recommend this course.

Just Go!

One of my favorite courses I’ve ever played! It was challenging, lots of elevation changes, dog legs, and be prepared to lose some balls. 🤣. However, the course was immaculate, beautiful, and the staff was top notch. The golf pro was very accommodating of my schedule and worked me into a slot that would help ensure I was able to finish the full round. The food was killer too! If I ever travel back to the Twin Cities for work, guaranteed I will be back!

Not Bad

Overall, not bad, but for the price, I guess I expected better. Course and area is absolutely stunning, but for $70 to play nine holes, you’d think the tee boxes would at least be mowed and level. Lots of off-tilt stances on several of the holes.

SCN is always a great experience. Friendly check in. Grill smells wonderful. Starter got me out as a single before a foursome so I got around quickly. This review is end of March and we in the Midwest rarely get to play end of March. This course is even far more beautiful in the summer time when things green up. Greens and fairways a little soft but it's end of March. Soft greens made me feel like a pro who could spin it back. 😆
