Trappers Turn Golf Club - Arbor/Lake

About
Trappers Turn Golf Club offers 27 holes of championship golf that stretch across scenic terrain that was carved by glaciers. The holes are divided into the Lake, Canyon, and Arbor nines, which can be played in three different 18-hole combinations. Andy North and Roger Packard collaborated to design all of the holes. The Arbor/Lake Course starts with the newest nine, which was added in 2000. This nine is known for its scenic views since it has the Rocky Arbor State Park as its neighbor. The Lake nine has four holes that wrap around the 13-acre Mystic Lake. It has a links-style design that incorporates a variety of elevation changes in addition to the water features. Trappers Turn also has a practice facility with a driving range, putting and chipping greens, and six target greens.

Amazing as always. Course was in great shape. Pace of play was perfect. Finished 18 on the Canyon/Arbor in 3:30 min with three average golfers. Always Impressed by the staff and course conditions when I play here. One of the best courses in the area 10/10
Beautiful
This was a well manicured course! The fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Liked it so much I played it the next day!
Great course
recommend, lots of fun to play. We followed a large tournament that was just finishing later in the day, so pace of play was excellent. I am not sure how you can request a specific course off of golfnow, but we played arbor and lake. I would like to go back and play canyon and lake. Very fun, would recommend.
Gem
Lots of rain leading up to the round. 90 degree cart path rule. Several of the bunkers had standing water. Greens and fairways were in great shape. Playable course with some challenging holes and forced course management. Staff were fantastic. I would definitely play here again. We booked Lake/Canyon. Once we finished we asked if we could play Arbor, they only charged $30 to play Arbor. Pace of play was great...played 27 holes in 5.5 hours.
Great round in The Dells
Trapper’s Turn is a great facility with 3 awesome 9 that will challenge your game. They have 5 sets of tees that allow you to play to the difficulty level to fit your game. Despite having just hosted an outing, the course was still in great shape. The garbage cans were pretty overflowing but the courses still looked great!!
Great challenge, no beverage cart till 8th hole on a hot day
We got behind some slow golfers and instead of letting us play through. They thought to hit their shots get some drinks from the beverage cart and then ask if we wanted to go through. We had been on the tee to see 3 of the 4 tee off. We were on their heels for four holes after they let 2 groups through
My New Favorite Course
I’m from Georgia and stopped on a road trip to Minnesota. I live near some great courses north of Atlanta and this is my new favorite. Unfortunately I live about 1,000 miles away, so will look forward to my next trip. Played Arbor and Lake 9s and the putting course. Unfortunately not enough time to play Canyon or the 12 hole par 3, but everything looked great. Challenging greens and pin positions, but beautiful and very fun.
Top course in the Dells
We played a few courses this trip, but the arbor lake 18 was Well groomed with a great layout. I was lucky enough to eagle number 2 on arbor, the par five
The course staff was A plus including the beverage cart driver Emma. I can’t wait to come back again this fall
Great Course!
The course was in peak condition and it was well worth the price! The course was a steal on Golf Now.
Exceeded expectations
I've always heard about this course and wanted to see if it lived up to the hype. It definitely did. The course is beautiful all of the staff was so kind and courteous. Worth every cent to me.
Beautiful Day on a Tough Course
I've played Trappers numerous times and I've always enjoyed it. We played on an absolutely beautiful day, 60's, sun with slight breeze. Fairways are not big and some holes have tiny greens. Most holes have penalty areas on either side so it's not a bomb and chip course. Definitely requires you to make golf shots. Love it!
