Hazlehead Golf Course - No.2 Course
About
Originally a nine-hole run, Hazlehead's No. 2 Course (also known as Hazlehead Golf Course - Pines Course) received an extension to make it a full 18-hole golf course in the 1970s. With more wide-open fairways than the No. 1 Course, No. 2 stands out as a testament to parkland golf with its amazing views and well-manicured greens and fairways.
A challenge for all level of player, the No. 2 course plays to 5,624 yards and includes the daunting No.-12 hole, which plays to a robust 495 yards from the back tees and will require both an accurate tee shot and approach for a birdie opportunity.
With low green fees and a professional atmosphere, the No. 2 Course has proven to be the perfect golf course for higher handicaps, women and seniors, as well as anyone looking for a fulfilling round of golf set amid Scotland's epic scenery.

Pines & McKenzie
Having now played both the courses here it really is a special place. Pines is the fairer course & the McKenzie is the brute 👍 Do not play McKenzie if you are 20+ you won't enjoy it & you'll slow others down.
As this place is so old it's got a beautiful sense of maturity, like the course is watching you as you play.
Good luck 🏌️⛳
Mckenzie medley
Playing the McKenzie championship course at Hazel Head brings you back to something in the 1930s where true tradition meets a challenging mature golf course. I would definitely recommend mcKenzie hazelhead everybody and the staff are very friendly. Downside the greens were running far too slow for September but definitely good value for money.
Hazlehead Pines
Good course with a decent layout and challenge. Greens not the best but possibly as it is so early in the season they should improve.
Hazelhead Pines
Really enjoyable day of golf, disappointed that the club was not offering and food options.
Next visit already being planned.
Excellent condition and value
Actually ended up playing the McKenzie course as Pines was closed due to heavy overnight rain. Staff allowed us to transfer to play the McKenzie.
Great track with excellent greens. Set up to allow a good pace of play.
Would definitely recommend
Terrible greens
Rarely got true roll on greens. They were patchy and looked terrible. Grass on fairways too long.
American on tour
Great value for money at Hazlehead no 2 course. Would play it again.
To many
This course is normally nice to play but on Saturday jam packed far to many golfers playing back to back hitting balls as you were standing waiting to play from mid fairway something needs to be done about this before there are issues as I was only having a bounce game it wasn't a problem but if it was an important game this could have been a problem starter would have been a good idea.
Could be better
Unfortunately the condition of the course was less than expected. Tee boxes were very worn and where there were mats, we couldn't find a suitable area to peg up.
Greens were very bobbly too.
It's a lively tree lined course with some good holes. A bit more TLC and it could be great.
