All Around Fun course
I play this course often sometimes 3 times a week although I do not get bored of the layout, the greens leaves something to be desired. The Poa Anna is taking over and it seems this staff has not been trained to deal with it. It's over watered and that makes the greens soft and bumpy
Good public
Very good condition. Not an up and back course with holes going up, down and cross wind. Many elevation changes.
The price was excellent!
Great price and excellent weather. This was definitely worth the price.
THE GREENS NEED HELP
GREAT LAY OUT VERY CHALLENGE N COURSE FAIR WAYS WHERE IN GOOD CONDITION GREENS NEEDED SOME ATTENTION OVER ALL HAD A GREAT ROUND
Great desert gem
Excellent greens. Challenging distances. Wide, well kept fairways. Doesn't feel like desert course, more of a Midwest feel. Definitely would play again if in the area.
Really good twilight prices, but you must then contend with the relentless desert winds falling down the nearby hills.
Well maintained for a public course.
I always enjoy this course. It is well maintained for a public course. Many of the holes have water hazards and the bunkers on each green are fairly deep with good sand. Saturday pace of play was surprisingly quick.
This course is fun to play!
The course is well maintained and the holes are very forgiving for all players. You still have to hit quality shots to score well, but your bad shots will not be penalized too much. Not your typical desert course even though this course is located in the mojave desert. Very fun for all abilities! I played with my parents (both over 60) and had a great tiime.
the greens where great, course conditions also very good
Play was quick after we the group ahead on first hole let us play through, The greens where putting true & Smooth. Course was overall in great shape and play was fast so we finished in 3 hrs
10 mins. This is a challenging course to play but fun and fairly open.
great value through Golf Now. fast greens
This is a very nice course which I found challenging. The greens are extremely fast and 3 putts were common.
I love the set up of this course. Its challenging but not overly challenging.
This ismy second time playing this course and I'm glad its out here in the AV. Its the best course to play out here. Its kept up really nice, considering the weather out here. Love the set up. Its challenging but not to the point of frustration. The length is just right. My uncle and I played a super twilight starting at 3:00 and was able to finish in less than 4 hrs. It wasn't too conjested for a Friday. I would recommend this course to all of my friends.
Great course with outstanding customer service.
Greated by staff with freindly smile. Facility was neat and clean. Colby, Nate and all the staff were excellant. Course was in great condition despite the weather. Bartender girl was awesome and food was great. I think her name was Lauren. She had a great smile and personality.
for $22 it was a good buy.
Course is good. Greens are fast. Course is maintained fairly well. Golf carts seem to have a sputtering like you are running out of battery on almost every golf cart towards the 17/18th hole. Lots of desert landscapes to save them money on water. Not a lot of water holes.
Good course for any skill level, not overly challenging but not too easy.
I play here once or twice a week. Usually get a good deal on golfnow or standard twilight rate. Pace of play can vary from less than 3 hours to over 4 depending on the people out in front of you. In the past couple months some renovations have been done and the course is in great shape other than a few fairways that have duck damage. Greens are fast and in great shape and most of the fairways are very nicely kept up as well.
Best course in the Antelope Valley. Plays best from blue tees, gold tees if your a big hitter.
The course is laid out well. Two par 5 on the front and two on the back nine. The same for par three holes. Just the right level of challenge for me. You'll like this course.
Wide open fairways. The greens were unacceptable.
The only negative experience was the greens. The turf was satisfactory but if you misjudged the speed to the cup from any distance, the ball would not stop till it found level. That was never too soon. You could be on in regulation but rarely make par. Our group had only one birdie and lots of 3 putts. This is NOT a weekenders golf course. My group will not return.
Good course
Fairway and greens are looking good, well maintained
Nice layout. I love playing this course
This is my home course and I play it often and never get bored with playing there.
Great value for the money
Played the course on 11/27/12 as a foursome. Starter got us off right on time and we found the course in excellent condidtion. I was told the sand was excellent as I was lucky enough not to have to find out for myself. The fairways while a little damp in places was lush and green. Tee boxes were level with only minor damage. The course defends itself on the greens which were very fast and had subtle undulations. The rough is penal but fair. Overall, a great course and well worth the money.
Great course for the average golfer.
Public course that is in very good condition. Nice wide fairways separated by extensive waste bunkers.(hard packed desert sand). Greens are fast and putting from above the hole is scary. Very walkable.
