for $22 it was a good buy.
Course is good. Greens are fast. Course is maintained fairly well. Golf carts seem to have a sputtering like you are running out of battery on almost every golf cart towards the 17/18th hole. Lots of desert landscapes to save them money on water. Not a lot of water holes.
Good course for any skill level, not overly challenging but not too easy.
I play here once or twice a week. Usually get a good deal on golfnow or standard twilight rate. Pace of play can vary from less than 3 hours to over 4 depending on the people out in front of you. In the past couple months some renovations have been done and the course is in great shape other than a few fairways that have duck damage. Greens are fast and in great shape and most of the fairways are very nicely kept up as well.
Best course in the Antelope Valley. Plays best from blue tees, gold tees if your a big hitter.
The course is laid out well. Two par 5 on the front and two on the back nine. The same for par three holes. Just the right level of challenge for me. You'll like this course.
Wide open fairways. The greens were unacceptable.
The only negative experience was the greens. The turf was satisfactory but if you misjudged the speed to the cup from any distance, the ball would not stop till it found level. That was never too soon. You could be on in regulation but rarely make par. Our group had only one birdie and lots of 3 putts. This is NOT a weekenders golf course. My group will not return.
Good course
Fairway and greens are looking good, well maintained
Nice layout. I love playing this course
This is my home course and I play it often and never get bored with playing there.
Great value for the money
Played the course on 11/27/12 as a foursome. Starter got us off right on time and we found the course in excellent condidtion. I was told the sand was excellent as I was lucky enough not to have to find out for myself. The fairways while a little damp in places was lush and green. Tee boxes were level with only minor damage. The course defends itself on the greens which were very fast and had subtle undulations. The rough is penal but fair. Overall, a great course and well worth the money.
Great course for the average golfer.
Public course that is in very good condition. Nice wide fairways separated by extensive waste bunkers.(hard packed desert sand). Greens are fast and putting from above the hole is scary. Very walkable.
