SummerGrove Golf Club

Golf Now needs to do a better job of letting the public know that the greens have sand or be plugged. I was the second person who complained about not seeing it on their web site. Then the club house guy tried to overcharge us. Only got to play the back nine twice. Course was in terrible shape compared to when it first opened. I would of figured when Cannongate sold it the conditions would improve. I think they've went the other direction. Pace of play was extremely slow. They could of done a better job of limiting the number of players or paired players up.

Great layout starts out easy but there's plenty of challenge as you go !

The course is a challenging layout. It appeared to be fairly well groomed, but the drainage was terrible. This is the second time that I have played this course. It rained 4 days prior to us playing, and there was an excessive amount of standing water, and mud, and it was the same the 1st time I played here.

Played yesterday. Fairways good greens excellent. Beautiful layout. I play this course regularly and it is always in great shape. This is the best public course in the west georgia area.

Summer Grove is a great golf course and my wife and I played it in 3.45 minutes this past Sunday. Staff was friendly and the course was in great shape - I would highly recommend this course.

I drove a long way to play Summer Grove and I feel like I got my money's worth ($48 on a holiday morning). The course itself is in great shape. The greens had a lot of unfixed marks yet everyone in my group is used to fixing yours plus one more and the greens rolled great. My ONLY real complaint is that there was no bev cart on a major holiday. It was PACKED so I know they would've made some serious money. The round was long so we didn't stay to try the food out afterwards but we heard it was good.

I have never in my life played a course that had so many unfixed divot marks on the greens. The greens looked like a mine field, other than that a great course but would not play again because of the greens.

Course wasn't super challenging but you better be in the fairways because the rough could be punishing. Really nice course with exceptional greens. Zoisia fairways are the best to play and you were rewarded when you were in the fairway, A lot of variety. I will definitely play this course again when in the area

This is a great course. It is always in great condition. The greens are in great Shaw. The staff is very friendly.

Course was in great condition taking into account the dry weather we have been having and compared to other courses in the area. Pace of play was good, friendly staff, gas carts are a plus.

Love the layout and condition of this track. Georgia summers are rough on Bent grass greens you have to keep them slow and wet so you don't lose them. Round was enjoyed very much.

good pace of play and course was in good condition - over past years, the main complaint about this course was the front 9 drainage due to low lying position of that portion of the course as well as green condition. With the rain that has been in GA lately, I thought the front 9 was in fantastic condition. As for the greens, still some ball marks that have been un-repaired by previous golfers, but all in all, the greens were very good. Definitely recommend playing this course if you have not already.

Best kept secret in Ga, would recommend to everyone.

Enjoyed this course very much because of the beautiful setting. Course was in great condition. The staff was extremely nice. I look forward to playing there again soon. Great golf experience and a great value.

This is one of my favorite courses in the Newnan area. Always a great time!
