COURSE MARSHALLS
The course needs Marshall’s to ensure pace of play and care of the course. Apparently raking traps and fixing divots is old school. So is pace of play; it should not take 5.5 hours.
Playing GCH used to be a treat. Free range bakks, collard shirts, pace of play. Now it’s just like any other course.

Very nice place
Home of the Houston Cougars men's and women's golf teams. The practice facilities were quite nice, the Tournament Course was fun and the staff was very helpful. The greens are well protected by nice, white sand. I found the bunkers well maintained and very playable - I had to hit out of a lit if them... I definitely recommend the Golf Club of Houston
