Golf Club of Houston - Tournament Course

Course and practice area are excellent. Pace of play was slow at 5 hours.

Greens and sand traps were great.

Seems like this course has gone down in conditions but up in prices. I’ll preface by saying this is an awesome track - lots of challenges but the overall experience isn’t worth $150. This is the second time I arrived early to get a warmup in but they had no carts ready. Spent all my extra time waiting for them to turnaround a cart for me. No cart girl on the course and nobody staffing the halfway house. Not even sure the hotnow prices are worth it

What a neat layout. Very challenging almost every shot. Just drive the ball straight and hit your ball to the green and then be able to put on the fastest greens in Houston. And you'll be fine. Stay out of the Bonkers as they are usually rather deep. Very well maintained. Fairway bunkers on almost every hole. Every Green protected by bunkers. Very very challenging!

The GCH Tournament Course was in great shape when I played. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Beautiful, challenging course. Afternoon play is a good value.

Plenty of space to play at your fullest and be challenged at the same time.

Even with the heat lately course is in great shape, greens are immaculate. Only complain is several holes were car path only, but understandable to maintain the fairways and greens as they are. highly recommend, expensive but it is worth it.

I love it! The best course I played in Houston. Best view and great condition. Only thing is it costed over 100 dollars and a bit pricey. But I would still play there again next time.

I thoroughly enjoyed my round of golf. The condition of the course was excellent (although a bit overwatered).

The only problem I had was that many of the holes were “forgettable”. As I reviewed/replayed the round in my memory, I found I had trouble remembering many of the holes.

First time playing and overall the course was great. Nice practice facilities, well maintained, interesting layout with no houses on the Tournament course and holes not crowded next to each other.

Carts had GPS but with annoying geo fencing feature. Give you two water bottles but no water on the course so still need to bring your own in hot Texas summer.

Only complaint is the expense. You should definitely play once and then you can decide if it worth the extra money versus other high level courses in the area.

This course has a fun variety of holes and several of which pose a real challenge with the prevailing wind. Greens punched last week but overall rolled OK despite this, just wish there had been a notification of the maintenance prior to booking. The pace of play was great on the front but ran into a logjam on the back nine as the pace slowed significantly. Overall, this course is a real treat to play and the conditions are consistently great.
