Golf Club of Houston - Member Course

This course rarely disappoints. It's more expensive than your typically public course but it's typically in really good shape and it's a fun layout. Good mix of short and long holes. It took a full five hours to complete the round which was disappointing but it was a holiday weekend and cart path only so I wasn't expecting to finish in four. Practice area is wonderful too. It's always cool to play a course that the pros (used to) play.

I have played this course several times and it seems to get better. The course is in wonderful shape. The staff is great. If you're in the Houston area, I highly recommend.

Course in great shape. Helpful friendly staff. Pace of play was overall fine, but the layout does have a couple of bottlenecks with some reachable par 4’s forcing longer hitters to wait on the greens. But still only a 4hr round!!

For the price I paid I wish some of the fairways were in better shape. Some of the tee boxes could use a little TLC as well. Bunkers and green were all excellent (a few patches on greens they are working on but holes were cut far from there. Biggest downside to the course it the signs coming in were a bit confusing. Looking forward to coming back in about a month to see if they recovered the fairways!

Former home of PGA tour stop and a superbly conditioned excellent track. Bunkers and water come into play but fairly.

Excellent starter and staff. Speed of play finished in 3.5 hours. Loved it and highly recommended!

The course was in great shape. Lush fairways amd greens were in perfect condition. Smooth and good speed around a 10 on the stimpmeter. Finished out round in 3hr 40mins.
