Course was so Wet
We played the Ocean Course in early January of 2025. It was so wet, it was virtually unplayable. It was definitely not worth full price, which they charged us.
$200-Not worth it
Played The Ocean Course; only 1 hole on the back 9 is located on the ocean! Course conditions were below average, especially for a Troon Affiliate and this price point. Carts stalled out on the cart paths and forced us to drive in reverse towards our tee shots for a few holes. Starter was super friendly.
The whole place is a giant puddle
Went out at 9 told us it was a cart path only and we thought it would be fine. It was like walking around in the Florida Everglades. The whole place was completely underwater. I cannot believe they were even allowing people on the course with these conditions. Ultimately was a decent layout if it was dry but it was just a money grab complete waste of time and money.
Conditions were terrible!!
Even when calling a day earlier the staff didn’t mention that it was swampy and parts of the fairway on all holes had water on them. Brand new shoes drenched and muddy . I definitely would not come back for that sole reason and would not recommend this course.
Not worth it.
We played this course on 12/31. The course was mainly cart path only and so many of the fairways were in bad shape or so wet you couldn’t walk them. On top of that the carts were in short supply. We couldn’t warm up on the range as there were no balls and the cares kept stopping in random areas on the cart path saying we had entered restricted areas. This was literally on the cart path. It’s the third time I’ve played this course and I won’t go back. Not for that maoneu.
Good course but not for the money
This course was called the Ocean Course and there is only one hole on the Ocean and it's covered by trees. The course fairways are not in the best condition. Overall it's a good course but there are others in the area that are better.
Soggy Paradise
10am tee time. Playable humidity. The great staff let us go out early. Great layout. The course is moist and you get an occasional shower. Good was great. Greens on the medium side. They rolled true. Out door bar on the turn. Ocean view on par 3 #16. Must try.
Worth $35 a round if in the States.
One beautiful par 3 on the ocean. The rest inland, flat and in poor shape. Unfortunately the greens are in the worse shape, they clearly keep throwing sand on them to keep up with the traffic and wet conditions. Might as well not putt at all as nothing rolls as it should. Course is super wet everywhere. Golf carts and rental clubs were the best features. No food until 11am daily and that is a SLOW process. Beverage cart comes around frequently however for snacks and overpriced beer. That round cost me and my brother $350 with everything and we should’ve been playing muni rates in these crap conditions.
Unlevel tee boxes
It was a good course for $100 after the discount. But to pay full price would have been a let down. There was only 1 hole close to the ocean. I was expecting more holes by the ocean for a course named an “ocean course”. More than half of the tee boxes are unlevel. It leaves the ball above or below your feet
Totally wet
The course was totally wet. The golf carts GOS
Shut down tour carts because they said we were off the cart paths but we were not. This happened on at least 7 holes . The groups behind us had the same problem.
I would check if it’s golf carts only and not play if it is
