No Caribbean vacation destination boasts more golf courses than Puerto Rico.
To help you plan your next winter escape, GolfPass releases a Top Public Golf Courses in Puerto Rico every January thanks to YOU. We create our annual Golfers' Choice lists by curating the reviews submitted by everyday golfers. We use GolfPass' Ratings Index logic that weights newer reviews and combine it with a course's subcategory averages.
Each course needed at least three reviews and at least some public access to qualify. Dorado Beach is where country club golf started in the Caribbean. A young Chi Chi Rodriguez played a lot of golf there. Many of Puerto Rico's best public courses hug the Caribbean Sea, while others offer views of the Atlantic Ocean.
We make our Golfers' Choice best-of lists user friendly. Simply click on the photo of each course to learn more about the facility or to book a tee time (in most cases).

Bahia Beach Resort
Green fee: $179-$305
What they're saying: "This was our first time in Puerto Rico. I wanted to play the Dorado East course but that has become private and can only be booked if you stay at the Ritz. We heard great things about the Bahia Beach course. It was amazing! Golf was challenging but fair. Golf cart was the most comfortable cart I have ever been in. Staff was exceptional. Water views on almost every hole. We played as a two and were done in 3:15. We rented clubs for $85 and they were brand new. I would DEFINITELY play here the next time I came back. Worth every penny." - pschrank -
