About
Shorecliffs Golf Course wanders through the coastal canyons and valleys of San Clemente, heading towards the beautiful shoreline. Situated just steps from the ocean, the course enjoys cool ocean breezes and a temperate climate, which makes it a year-round haven for golfers. Its location also provides the golf course with plenty of scenic ocean views. The course features narrow fairways tightly lined with trees and small greens bordered by sand bunkers. The front nine is shorter and requires more accuracy than the longer, wider back nine. Shorecliffs opens with one of the trickiest par-5s in the area. This dogleg left hole features trouble both left and right. Although the layout does offer a fair challenge, players of all skill levels will feel comfortable taking on the golf course.

Worst CC in OC
It is not a golf course and very dangerous to cross street many times, and the fairway and green are not managed well. Will never play over there.

This course has a section that's unplayable
This course was my favorite for the last two years, however, recently it's been tore up in a few places and the detours involved to play around this mess are a deal breaker for me. in order to make a 18 hole course, Shorecliffs cuts a number of the longer holes in half. I advise you to pass on ShoreCliffs if your rate exceeds $20.

A good time with friends
The layout is pretty odd with two holes being renovated and having to backtrack etc. but we enjoyed our game.
