Belmont Lake Golf Club

This course is a hidden gem and appeals to all skill levels. Each hole offered a different look and many differing degrees of difficulty. The fairways and greens are kept in tip top shape and play smoothly. I will be going back again this weekend for another round.

This was the second time that I played here.

First time, it was during the late winter_early spring that the course condition was just oK.

This time (early June), the course condition was nearly perfect.

My only complaint was the green speed. It was not too slow but not fast enough. But the greens and fairway condition was nearly perfect.

Fairways had just been aerated, grass is very thin, hard to hit off of. Had to roll the ball to find a decent place to hit from. Big wide fairways, liked that a lot. Some of the greens had small bare spots and were a little bumpy. All that being said, I will give it one more shot. I believe it could be a nice track, once the grass comes in.............................................. hopefully soon. (I said I would recommend this course. I would feel more comfortable saying "maybe" if that was a choice).

golf course is very generous for amateur golfer. big greens in great condition. a fun course to play very enjoyable and beautiful layout. exceptional value compared to other courses of that caliber. would certainly play again.

Great course, but some times the pace of play can be slow on the back nine.

the course is a nice layout with excellent greens. although the fairways were still dormant, it was very playable. Wide fairways make it good for all player levels. Coming from the mid atlantic area it is a good stopover on the way to Myrtle Beach golf. Very friendly staff in pro shop and restaurant

Excellent conditions - even for the winter. True links layout -out and back without returning to the clubhouse. Cant wait to play it again in the spring.

OMG Greens are PERFECT!!! You can tell they care....tarps on the greens at night keep them excellent.

Play right away on a course where the Greenskeeper cares....

This was our first time playing this course, we play in the Raleigh area often and had never heard of the course. I found this course on golf advisor as it was highly recommended. The reviews were right on the money. An overall nice facility, very friendly staff and the course conditions and the layout is comparable to any of the better courses in the Raleigh area.

I can assure you that we will play this course whenever we are in the area.

We had so much fun on this course. It was our half way point between Myrtle Beach and Va. It was so beautiful and we had a blast!

I've played Belmont in the past however with the new greens -- it makes the course all the more Fantastic. They did a Wonderful job on installing them and making sure they were in the BEST Shape possible. Well Done to the Belmont grounds crew!!

Well designed Course with calculated challenges built into the design

Played for the first 6-11-17 and am going back this weekend. This course is just beautiful. It has wide fairways and large greens making it playable for all skill levels. Back tees are 7000 yards + So it is challenging to the seasoned golfer as well. The conditions were immaculate especially for the heat of the summer. All holes have plenty of distance between one another so each hole has its own distinct identity without balls crossing your fairway from other holes. It has moved to tops on my list for courses in the greater Raleigh area.

Course has a great design. Location of the tees make it challenging for all but the course is fair and fun for everyone. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Having not played a course, you always wonder what you will encounter. My friend and I experienced the widest fairways I've every played. The layout thru the trees was wonderful and the greens putted true. The staff was great and even let us stop play and restart later that day when an emergency arose. Will definitely play again when in the area. Great value.
