I would go there again
It was still winter but they did a great job keeping the bunkers in shape. Greens and fairways were sanded so it is hard to give a true review but for the time of the year I would excellent job.
Favorite stop on East Coast drive
We drive from RI to FL often and always stop at Belmont and Santee National, never disappointed.
Never Disappoints
Exceptional condition for this time of year (early April 2024). Made the loop n just under 4 hours after teeing off at 1130.
JUST A HEADS UP: The course does not return to the clubhouse after 9 holes - it's the only complaint I ever hear - no problem with me!
Stopped on our way to Mrytle Beach
we had a group of 20 heading to Myrtle and one of the guys had played here last summer so we stopped on our way down to break up the drive, get some golf in and have lunch. It is 3 miles off I-95 and we had a great time. Conditions as good if not better than what we had in MB and staff was friendly.
Best Track on I95 in NC for the $$
I've reviewed this course several times, it's always exceptional. If I lived closer it'd be my home course.
There are only 2 things:
- No practice trap
- TOO MANY cup cuts on the greens. This was a problem when I first started playing, went away, and is back.
Best Track Around!
I played 11/2/2023, fairways are still tight and at least 1/2 inch thick. Greens (Champion Bermuda), as always, are exceptional.
My review of Belmont Lakes Golf Club. Title?
No complaints. Nice course. You rate courses on TeeOff.com or GolfNow too high then they raise tee time prices. That’s the real deal. My complaint with this course and many more following trend is paying 8 dollars to hit 40 balls on the range prior to my round. Or should I say 35 balls!! That’s ridiculous to be blunt!!
