About
Boca Greens Country Club is like most Florida golf courses in that it has a rather flat landscape with plenty of water, but it stand out for its scenic views and challenging but player-friendly layout designed by Joe Lee. Water is a prominent presence throughout the course and there are also numerous strategically placed bunkers to contend with, but these difficult elements are nicely balanced by ample room off of the fairways. One of the trickier holes is the par-5 17th, which is almost completely surrounded by water. The layout has a few challenging holes but overall a range of skill levels can play the golf course. There are also five sets of tees to make it even more approachable. Boca Greens C.C. boasts an enjoyable and fair round that is one of the area's best values.

Bury the Dead, they stink up the place...
Overall fun day... I mean, golfing so... Two really negative comments. 1) the greens were in terrible shape. Really Bad. 2) There were dead iguanas all over the course and the smell of their rotting corpses was beyond horrific. Its been approximately 3 weeks since temps dropped and a bunch of iguanas froze and died... Leaving them around for 3 weeks is absurd. The only ones happy about this were the turkey vultures.
Steady as she goes
I live this course, the staff is outstanding. The layout is challenging, but the greens need a lot work. The called is there and this course is my goto when I want to practice with all my clubs.
Don't be fooled by the old pictures
This course hasnt been watered in a year. Greens are practically sand traps. Worth all of $10, not $50.
I'm not picky but this course was bad
The layout and course design is nice, don't get me wrong. But I don't think I've ever seen a course is worse shape. It almsot seems like it's done on purpose. Sandy, grassy, and patchy greens. There wasn't a single hole in good ahale. Very bad course conditions. We also had to wait for them to get us range balls before our tee time since they didn't have enough to go around. When we got them, it was hardly a small bucket for $14 dollars. Not worth it. This is such a terrible course.
Stay Away!
I read the recent reviews about how bad this course was, but thought we would try it to see if those reviews were completely accurate. They are completely accurate! This course is in such poor condition that I’m amazed that it is still open. Tee boxes, fairways, rough, and greens were in horrible condition! Sand traps were in fair condition. We’ve played several courses that had rough conditions but this course is by far the worst we’ve ever played. The only true positive thing we experienced the entire day was the gentle working inside the pro shop. Very nice gentleman. I would recommend to play any course except this one.
Hardpan fairways
This course seems abandoned. Dry hardpan fairways. Terrible greens. Not worth the experience. Don't waste your time or your money.
Great Track
Haven't played in 30 years but I hear troon's building it or bought it so it should be a great track in a few years still a good track for the kind of conditions it's in.
