Reviews
Decent public course.
Nice layout, some tough holes and a decent round of early spring golf. Definitely better than Castlereagh Hills in comparison.
Good course but disappointing.
On booking the course we payed a hefty amount not to be told that we would be loosing out on at least 100yards each hole. Par4 where changed to par 3 one temporary green but was no need for 16/18 holes to be off temp tee boxes. Mostly every hole was teed off mats in middle of fairway or women’s/children's tee boxes. Course is in good condition only greens not running great but that will come. Will be back to see how it plays at full length.
Sandy Greens
Work to course not advertised on golf now website or at course definitely would not have booked and paid for this round and buggy, while heading to the first tea box a tractor with sand spreader at the rear drove up the side of the fairway and started spreading sand on the 1st green would have been safer trying to putt on Ballycastle beach there was a large number of greens like this over ten or more the first girl at reception was very friendly and went out of her way to get us a buggy the second girl on returning the buggy and complaining of the course asked for my name when she seen that it was booked through GolfNow scoffed and said sure it only cost you X amount for the golf what do you want me to do first class customer service from ABC staff really disappointed and yet to receive come back from GolfNow as I lodge a complaint with them.
Awesome
Unbeatable value for money, course is challenging but not stupid difficult, a real pleasure to play and and in excellent condition. Will definitely be a regular here, super friendly and I left with a huge smile on my face.
Loughgall
4 time this month wee have played it and as always it never let's us down . Friendly staff and very helpful. Going to book again next week . Great value for money.
Well maintained
A very well maintained course, with some quite challenging holes, well laid out, even the weather on this day was on our side 😀 👍
Golf course
Played Loughgall today the course is in great order the price is fantastic and they have the ride on buggys witch is a bonus. Staff are lovley very friendly. Love having a trip up.
Great course and very friendly.
Love playing the course as they have buggys and its alway in great condition.
Well kept
Course is really well kept. Challenging and an enjoyable round to play
surprising
after the rain last night, called the course at 9am to check it was open, thankfully it was. normal tee boxes, no temporary greens which was great. fourball in front of me let me play through on the 2nd hole and pace of play no issue at all today thanks to those guys. course has held up ok in the weather, obviously quite soft in places, especially shaded areas. greens were surprisingly ok, last time i played here in the summer the greens were awful and just full of unrepaired pitchmarks. tough test with the wind today and i always struggle on the big sloping par 5’s, but all in all a fun plod around
first time, will be back
Course in surprisingly good condition considering the weather, will be back in the summer!

Paid full price for 18 holes, however only 9 holes open
Unsatisfactory
Course was shortened by half with temporary tee boxes and temporary greens
No score card for the course lay out no information given before booking
was very over priced for the conditions
Cancelled due to weekend weather
We did not play the course. I phoned the course just after 9am and was told that the course was closed due to the inclement weather over the weekend.
If I had not phoned I would have made a unnecessary journey.
Could have been better.
Could have been better. The greens had been spiked before play. Not one putt ran smoothly. The weather the day before was wet so the course was a bit heavy. On the day it was windy with showers. Still very playable except for the greens
Waste of Money
Arrived up to course excited to get started, was only told after we had everything sorted that there would be 13! Temporary greens. Most of these cut the hole distance a significant amount. On the greens we were allowed to play, it was like throwing a bowling ball down a cobble street. Course was extremely muddy and the rough was completely unkempt. Ended up losing a few balls that were guaranteed to be on the fairway cause they plugged in, half the course was waterlogged, which was weird cause there was no heavy rain. Was very tempted to ask for a refund. Won't be back.
