Spa Golf Club

Headed out for 4.10 pm tee Sunday. Arrived 45 mins early and shop was closed. Advised on first tee that ladies were playing a match in front of us. We wouldn't be allowed to play through. Greens were very wet due to heavy rain. Long story short 9 holes took nearly 2 hours and 40 mins and we decided just to head in at that point. Left us feeling a bit short changed on the day but really nice course and good clubhouse.

Great course great conditions and would highly recommend this course to play..especially if u can get it as a hot deal offer..will definitely be back to play again

Course is in fantastic condition.

Only down side is the bar was closed at the 19th

First time I have played Spa golf course .
Really impressed.
It is in fantastic condition from tee to green, and all in between.
Will make a point of definitely returning to play it again.
Green staff have done an excellent job to get Spa golf course into such great condition so early.

I returned to my home town today to play here as ive heard how it was in fantasic condition and prob in the best shape around, now ive played alot of courses of late including a pga national course so maybe my expectations were high.
On arrival carpark and clubhouse was quiet which was great, checked in with the pro shop and was greeted by a lovely woman (sorry cant remember name) but had a great chat and seemed very interested in us and where we played which I love... great welcome
Tee'd off and away we went, now the weather has been very hot I understand but alot of the fairways were very dry and cracked in places, always having to play the ball to the topside of a sloped fairway just to have it roll all the way to the bottom into rough, greens were in good shape and lightening fast.. wow caught me out a few times but not complaining as it was a good test... overall I enjoyed the course but lacking some lush green on the fairways.
After our round we went to the clubhouse to have a few pints and somthing to eat only to find no bar or food being served, it was around 3pm on a Thursday and was a little surprised at that and a first for me... not all was lost after speaking to the lovely lady from the pro shop she managed to get somone to pour us a pint but felt a little disappointed as I had came here for the day and had to go elsewhere in search for food
I will return for sure but after the recomdations about condition it wasnt what I expected.. still a fantasic course but I maybe just picked the wrong time weather wise to play it.

Best course I’ve played to date this year..brilliant course in great condition will definitely be back..first time playing the course and didn’t know what to expect or where the green where but good layout and will be back

Brilliant course as always play here regular. One down said from today was the greens. Absolutely unplayable. A call or email to let us know the greens were like this. I would have re booked for another date. Still give you excellent rating for all other times I've played. But we really should have been told greens where like that.

Fantastic , tricky course. Some long par 5s and challenging holes . Fairways in great condition and greens also. Overall a great course.

This is a real hidden gem. I played Mount Juliet the previous week and this was every bit as pristine. Long course with immaculate fairways, tee boxes and greens. Very challenging and looking forward to getting back there again soon. Highly recommended.
