Fantastic value
Very well maintained, very tricky course. Very hilly but not ridiculous. Really really enjoyable. Will definitely play again.
Brilliant course in good condition
Brilliant course it's in top condition had Brilliant weather. Only thing is we could only play 1-11 then back to 4-11 as there was par 3 competition on so missed out on couple the best holes and only played 17 holes all together
Nice course
First time playing, looking forward to playing again in the summer.
St patrick's Golf club
played with a my friend over from eastbourne and we had a great round in terrible weather conditions that was the only negative but it's a course that i'll be playing again. Well done to the Greenkeeper and staff.
Unreal condition
All the other reviews are correct - you’ll not find a better course for the money (GolfNow rate) in Ulster.
Greens all rolling pure and run off areas closely mown, only signs of any water in one of maybe 50 bunkers.
All members I saw out were very friendly , albeit I got stuck behind a 2 ball that became a 3ball on the 7th hole .
Tough course if you’re offline but a fair test and worth it for the views alone.
Hidden gem
Best conditioned course I’ve played in NI greens were immaculate! Was lucky to play this course with someone that’s played before as you have a few dog legs and blind landing spots it’s better to know where’s best but other than course is in great condition and would definitely book again & recommend!!
90% smashing
This course was challenging but very well designed. We had a few heavy down pours and a few of the greens had standing water on them making it almost impossible to putt, but the fairways were in excellent condition. We usually enjoy a meal and a pint after our round however they had stopped serving food by 6:40 when we got into the club house. All in all a great course, 8.5/10 and will 100% be back to play
Great Course
Love the layout and a real test of golf. Some tough holes with tricky greens. The par 3s are are fantastic and I will be back again!
Excellent course - always made welcome.
I've played here many times over the years and it never disappoints. It's a fantastic course to play when the ground is wet elsewhere - never find this course soggy. Fantastic for winter golf especially.
Challenging, but scoreable if your game is on. Greens were excellent as always, albeit a little slow, but I suspect the amount of rain in the days before play contributed towards that. Fairways are firm and superb. My only criticism was the tee boxes. The grass was quite long (longer than I remember - so hopefully they are due a cut soon) and it made it difficult to get your tee length right at times. It's a small point and one no doubt that will be remedied over the coming weeks.
Pace of play is always good around here. Rarely do you find slow play. I love the layout in general - but one hole (par 3 near the end - 15?) feels like it's been thrown in to make up the numbers. I think the rest of the holes are excellent with some real crackers in there. Views are amazing from some parts. Be aware that this course is hilly in places and you know you've been through it by the end. I'm not surprised seeing quite a few buggies out there. It would not be an easy walk for those a little less fit or able. Overall I have always enjoyed playing here - I will be back. Your a credit to golf - keep it up
St.Patrick golf course
Good course which was in very good condition considering the amount of rain over the Easter week. Hats off to the grounds staff. Club pro was really helpful and friendly.
Some great views of the Mourne mountains and surrounding areas from the course. Will be definitely booking St.Patricks again, even though it's nearly an hour's drive for me.
It's winter
For winter golf the course is fair enough, if you expect great fairways and greens your unrealistic.
Have played the course alot over the years all year round and it's excellent 5*
