Excellent course for Winter Golf.
Made very welcome by the staff , lovely people.
Good prices in yhe club shop also.
Will deffo be back.
Well done to the groundskeeper ⛳️⛳️⛳️
Lovely views at the beginning
Amazing first 3 holes with views out to sea and a very good course for poor golfers like myself. Very friendly staff and well kept for the value of a round. Will return when I can.
Enjoyable course in lovely countryside
Long and challenging course especially the first two par 5 holes straight uphill. Two virtually unplayable (worse from the ladies tee)) par 3 holes - 9th and 16th - with a very tall tree directly between tee and green on each
Great course to play, challenging in places but you would pay for the views up the 2nd alone.
Best value golf course
Hadn't played here for about 30 years. Always liked the course, and still do. It's a tough test for any golfer. Will be back very soon.
Booked fairly last minute after being let down by a booking at another course nearby. Very enjoyable round of golf. Quite hilly in parts which meant some amazing views, especially the second hole. Would play here again just for that hole alone. Four holes closed due to winter issues but allowed to play the last or first 4 to make up for it.
Challenging course with some tough greens. Well worth a visit.
Great views from a beautiful track.
Well worth a visit. A lovely mature parkland golf course with beautiful views of the coast and the Mourne mountains. The course was in surprisingly good condition given the heavy rain lately in the Downpatrick area. Really enjoy the course. Gordon and Arnold are very hospitable. I enjoyed a good pint of a very well poured Guinness in the cosy clubhouse afterwards.
The course is massive and a very good parkland because the soil is not soft. The staff is friendly too.
Great course for the money
First time playing Bright Castle, would definitely play again, decent course.. Greens and fairways in super condition. Added bonus of a fantastic backdrop of the Mournes. Stayed for a pint got talking to the pro shop/barman, couldnt do enough for us.
Course was excellent condition
The course was in excellent condition can't wait to get back
Great and Cheap Course
Enjoyed Bright again, play t a few times each summer
Tough windy conditions but the course was in great condition especially the greens
Only downside the bunkers had hardish sand then it had been raining heavy overnight
Bright Castle Golf Course
A real challenge, certainly worth a visit.
I will definitely play this course again.
Staff ruined it
Not a bad course but the guy Arnie who runs it and his wife ( I think ) where absolutely terrible hosts kept telling us off before we even started then followed us round the course watching us just all because he didn’t know us will never be back
