Edenmore Golf and Country Club

Edenmore conditions getting ready for winter.greens sandy dry and slow not natural run of ball,bunkers unplayable in places,need to keep drives on fairway chopp of fairway in places but not on winter Ts yet

My negative feedback is totally in relation to the bad manners of the young lad working in the PRO shop. I asked for a water tap and in the most unhelpful tone he said : 'Na mate. I'd have to go upstairs for you' (n.b. the reception was completely quiet at the time around 7pm).

All of my friends independently reported his use of one word answers, and avoidance of eye contact whilst stting on his mobile phone. Totally unprofessional, and sadly he made the nice course a disappointing experience.

Played in a 4-ball,1 golfer 1st time at edenmore,whole day enjoyable got a very rare birdie condition of course not bad for just after winter,course busy had to wait 5mins here and there to tee-off thro-ought but was ok,but do recommend edenmore

Course but wheary due to storm Eric,some holes bit choppy in some fairways and approach to green very soft,some greens holding water and some bunkers full of water,but I suppose to be expected so soon after a storm

Biggest challenge was weather,course conditions was good,pace of play slow for 1st 9,that allowed time and weather 2 cut short back 9,but edenmore is good course

Grass length super for time of year.

Greens excellent condition.

Semi-rough very short meaning ball easy to see.

Leaves well cleared from all playing areas.

Played edenmore today with 3 golfers never met before and was very good,pace was slow but was told when arrived a lot of golfers playing and 3 I played with were good craic,I accidentally hit one on green with ball and he laughed it off,so my enjoyment of edenmore continues

Third time playing here, course and greens always in good nick. Course was fairly quiet on a bank holiday morning. 2-ball got round in good time. Some great holes that test all abilities.

Played Edenmore with my son... both enjoyed it immensely. Greens were very good and fairways were in great condition. Highly recommend.

beautiful course best greens in ireland so true lovely little trees mark out the 150 yd stunning features they are would recommend here 100% also great golf now price !!

Playing Edinmore today was a very pleaserable experience for myself and the group I was with. We were well looked after and all the staff were helpful and polite. The pros shop was well equipped and the staff in there were exceptionally helpful and abliging to me. The course itself was in great condition although challenging very fair, greens excellent and all in all a very pleasant day

Booked online with Golfnow. Signed in just before midday in the pro shop, where I could see the timesheet on the screen. There was 20-25 names down for the afternoon, 7-8 groups spread over a 2 hour period. We were in a 3 ball. We were 30mins early but were rushed down to the 1st tee straight away where there was at least 20 guys waiting. Must have been a society. Our 3 ball was jumped to the head of the queue and we waited 15mins to tee off. 4hrs later we were on the 11th green. It was closeish to the clubhouse so we walked off. Heading for a 6hr round!!! Slow play was not to blame, there were no gaps anywhere ahead, the course was just overbooked. Shambles.

Fantastic course, challenging but very enjoyable. Course is in brilliant condition and the greens are in superb condition. Can't wait to play here again!

For pice paid, good value course. Wouldn't pay more than £20 for it though.

Had been a lot of rain on the 2 days before playing, but course played very well with only very few wet bits and no plugging at all.

Greens in good condition with almost no ball marks at all.

Lovely course in good condition. Great price for an evening round. Only downside was my two ball was held up by two slow fourballs ahead of us not letting us through, they were members and should've really known better. Storm passed through as we were playing but didn't spoil things too much.
