About
Situated just minutes from the Gold Coast beaches in the heart of Boca Raton, Southwinds Golf Course enjoys warm ocean breezes and lush vegetation. Water is a prominent presence throughout the course. Water hazards come into play on 16 holes. There are also mature trees throughout that will play a deciding role in shaping your shots. The golf course offers some enjoyably difficult holes but overall the challenges are manageable. Each hole is unique offering everything from opportunities to "grip it and rip it" and others that are defined by trees and lakes. The golf course finishes with one of its many water holes but on this par 4, you have to hit over water twice. In addition to the golf course, Southwinds also offers a driving range a putting green with a practice bunker.

Great Value for the money
It was a well maintained course. The greens were great and the fairways were also in good condition. I could hardly believe it was a public course. Also there were a lot of par 3 which were challenging. Overall Money well spent!!!!
Nice local course
I play here often as a single. Attracts similar "Bogey" golfers for enjoyable rounds with new friends.
Good course
Enjoyable round. It's not a long course, a little over 6,000 from the tips, but can be challenging with many water holes. Fairways were in decent shape, greens were good. Just the right level of difficulty for the average player.

A good golf course
I have played Southwinds before and liked it. My husband doesn't like all the water but it is in good condition and is a good course. The only problem is finding hole #8 after playing #7. It is always confusing and there is no directional sign ...

I love this course!
My friends and I have enjoyed our rounds at Southwinds. The course is fair but challenging. The greens are starting to round into shape following aerification. It has been windy for my last two rounds but there is ample opportunity to play away from trouble. I will be back because the summer rates are very affordable. This course is now at the top of my (our) rotation.
Excellent and Affordable
A great and challenging course at an equally great price! Staff are friendly and attentive. The aqua driving range is good for a warm up before tee-off and the new golf carts are in superb condition. Great time for our twosome, will be returning again soon.

we played in two and the front had a team of 4 people and all beginners, we had to wait several times during the game, I think they could have let us go ahead, but they didn't and none of the staff helped with that, about the course it was perfect.
Nice short course, it can be tricky
This is a well-maintained course with fairways almost spotless. The greens are recovering nicely and it’s almost there. It’s no surprise, even on a weekday, course is packed with players. So there’s quite a few minutes wait on practically every hole.
Fun time
We had played this course once before and we will likely play it every time we come to Florida as it is just beautiful with all the wildlife. We also had the benefit of playing with two very nice gentlemen who gave us great advice on what to do in the area. We will be back again.
