About
Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club in Bonita Springs offers tennis and bocce courts, a fitness center, and 27 of the most picturesque holes in southwest Florida. The holes are divided into three nines: the North, South, and East; that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The East/North Course combines the longest nine and the shortest nine. Towering pines and palms as well as mature oak trees cover the entire course. Almost just as abundant is the water, which makes an appearance on almost all of the club's holes. The golf course begins with one of the few holes at the club where water doesn't come into play. Although trees line both sides of the fairway on this dogleg right par 4, the landing area off the tee is generous.

Friendly employees
Almost every employee was very friendly to interact with! Unfortunately, rain closed the course before we could finish. Thanks to the general manager & 1 assistant, we were offered a complete rain check or refund. Thank you for that. We play this course every time we come to Florida, which is often. Happily recommend this course.
I’ve been coming down to Southern Florida for years now. Not a member of any course,it’s always a pleasure to be able to play at Spanish Wells.
Very slow play
Front nine went well, but it appeared they added several nine hole foursomes in front of our foursome on the second nine. Result was a painfully slow nine with two to three foursomes waiting on tees.
Good stuff
As good a greens set as you’ll get. Good pace of play 4:10 for a 1 pm tee. Not an easy golf course- water!! Good overall conditions compared to other higher priced courses
Not bad
Greens and fairways in nice shape, played East and North courses, North is kinda funky layout thru neighborhoods but fun.
Terrible conditions
Tee boxes & fairways were awful!
Way overpriced for this condition.

Spanish wells
East course was nice the north course was very quirky. One of the par 5s was the worst golf hole iv ever played. Like to play the south course and see what that's like. The greens were good which to me is the most important part of the course.
Horrible response from staff concerning throwing a twosome in front of us at the tirn
After extreme slow play on the front, the pro staff threw a twosome in front of us at the turn which made it worse. We paid 150.00 apiece to play and they let some twilighters come in an extreme reduced price to play. Which seems like a a money grab to me. The course was in terrible shape, and the staff was indifferent to remedy the situation…. I have plated there for over ten years, and obviously management has changed …
