East/North at Spanish Wells Country Club
About
Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club in Bonita Springs offers tennis and bocce courts, a fitness center, and 27 of the most picturesque holes in southwest Florida. The holes are divided into three nines: the North, South, and East; that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The East/North Course combines the longest nine and the shortest nine. Towering pines and palms as well as mature oak trees cover the entire course. Almost just as abundant is the water, which makes an appearance on almost all of the club's holes. The golf course begins with one of the few holes at the club where water doesn't come into play. Although trees line both sides of the fairway on this dogleg right par 4, the landing area off the tee is generous.

Golf course or backyard? Photo submitted by Jimmy3044469 on 06/14/2018
Horrible response from staff concerning throwing a twosome in front of us at the tirn
After extreme slow play on the front, the pro staff threw a twosome in front of us at the turn which made it worse. We paid 150.00 apiece to play and they let some twilighters come in an extreme reduced price to play. Which seems like a a money grab to me. The course was in terrible shape, and the staff was indifferent to remedy the situation…. I have plated there for over ten years, and obviously management has changed …
Spanish Wells
Everything good about the round except fairways were very wet. Many mudballs.
Crowded
Seven minute tee times fill the course but does not lend to an enjoyable round. Expected the course to be of better quality. Several holes were not well designed.
Spanish Wells
Not a bad place to play. Conveniently located. A little over priced for the conditions.
No one responds online!
I booked this t-time date for same day instead of filling day in error on my vacation in Florida. For 3 players at $470
I tried changing the date 10 min later but golf course said I had to contact golf now. I called them immediately and was put on hold for 15 min twice and no one ever answered. I tried emailing and got a can’t deliver response from google. Needless to say I didn’t golf there.
Golf now billed my card but I still have not reached them

Didn’t feel like a toon course
The course is in great shape. However it seems not all three nines are of the same quality. Playing east to north brought on a significant downgrade in course value/experience. The north course especially was disjointed, long distances between relatively bland or forced holes were the overall experience. Seems they would have been better off with a single championship course and an executive 9.
Tee time management was also pretty rough. Got in about an hour before tee time, yet we got our cart moments before our tee time & missed a chance at the range and practice green. We wound up waiting on the first tee for about 10 minutes post tee time. They then let off twilight golfers ahead of us on the back nine and we never got to finish due to this.
Nice public 27 hole course
In high season, it can be very busy. On this day, they ran out of carts but staff was quick to turn them over as players came in. We were not delayed. Pro shop and curb staff were friendly, eager and on point.
We played North and South courses. North is tight while South is wider with more water. Fairways and tees in good shape for high season. Greens the same. Have not played East but hear it’s the better of the 3.
Beverage cart was seen only once. Snack bar can be sketchy and can suddenly be sold out of items or simply closed. Range with floater balls on site. All in all, can’t complain as it’s surrounded by one high end CC after another.
Great staff, fun day
Enjoyable day. Staff is extremely friendly. Greens are in good shape. Tee boxes and fairways are in need of a lot of help. Still fun to play.
