Played this course over 30 years ago when the big trees were little. I remember it being wide open but with the trees maturing it’s not like that anymore. Very nice pace of play (Monday). No one behind us so we took our time. Conditions were satisfactory. Fairways were okay. Greens were recovering from being aerated and “sanded”. Had a great time and will play again.

Although it was a little slow in the pro shop, and the greens were aerated and were blanketed with sand, the weather was good and I still had a great day!
Creekside Day
Wanted to play after our golf club tournament was cancelled the day before due to rain. I live in Tracy and prefer not to play Tracy CC as it is still a dirt track in my books... Creekside was nice but the sand traps need REAL sand. The greens were in great shape and rolled true. Not a bad golf course and with a little help could be better.

Book rounds they cant offer
Booked a round that included cart, got there was told walking only with no push carts available. Then wouldn't refund my online booking fees. I would have brought a push cart had they not booked the round as “cart included”.
Good Bang For The Buck!
Greens are PERFECT! Fairways are acceptable, winter conditions! Most bunkers are in acceptable condition!
Still a very good Muni course!
Wish Modesto took more pride in their courses!

Pretty good course in good condition and pace could’ve been a bit better, on the other hand what is going on with irrigation groundscrew? Course is kinda wet, leaks and dug up holes all over the course someone can fall into them crazy.
decent course
greens were in great shape, fairways were in only fair shape, and it was hard to tell the difference in the rough and the fairways. its a solid municipal course
slow pace but expexted
slow pace there was a group ahead (5 some)that played very slow and were all over the place .
