Fairways, tees need fertilizer and the bunkers were puddled… No water or any solution in ball cleaners on tees…
Embarrassment for the city of Modesto!!
This course is in terrible condition!! You have bald spots all over the course you can hit it down the middle and get a horrible lie because of the conditions!! The whole course should be overseeded and let the grass grow back in so you don’t have crappy lies all the time!! The city of Modesto should be embarrassed for the conditions of their courses absolutely horrible!!!
Played on a cold and cloudy day so the ball did not fly as long as I would have liked. Tee boxes we okay. Fairways seemed a bit dry for this time of year. Greens were just sanded the other week so they were slow and bumpy. I like played the blue/white combo layout - a nice blend of hard and easy holes. Staff was freindly. Will recommend to others
Greens had just been punched - no heads-up during booking
Course was in decent shape, but unbeknownst to me, the greens had just been punched, so they were very sandy. There were two bathrooms on the course - both were in horrible shape.
Would definitely play again when greens heal up. Bathrooms should be better-maintained, however.
Sanded greens
Did not know that the greens were sanded. Made reservations on golf now, they should have indicated that this condition existed. The guy behind the counter was not friendly at all.
Greens were excellent. Sand traps have improved recently.
Overall, course is in good condition. Would definitely recommend to others.
Good Bang For The Buck!
Pace of play was so bad! 5somes playing sooo slow!
5somes, 2 somes, singles, nowhere should this really be allowed! People, this is a social game! Join up, pace is better, MORE FUN!!! INTERACT!!!!
when it got slow people were skipping around, jumping in front of you. total chaos. we told the staff but they didn't care.
Nice course but very slow pace
I have played this course many times due to it being a nice course but they need to hire a Marshall. The pace of play is so slow. Guarantee 4.5+ hours to play course every time. Always backed up waiting behind a couple people at every hole.
