Nice course but very slow pace
I have played this course many times due to it being a nice course but they need to hire a Marshall. The pace of play is so slow. Guarantee 4.5+ hours to play course every time. Always backed up waiting behind a couple people at every hole.
we had to skip holes because the pace of play was so slow, We teed off at 12:30 and had to have the cart in by 4:45..... not good. you should be able to get a round of golf in 4hrs. on a weekday.
Good Bang For The Buck!
Course plays ok dealing with the cold, damp fairways! Winter conditions! Fairways at some point soon need to be punched & over seeded! Tee boxes also!

Course is in fair condition, staff are very friendly, the golf carts need some cleaning, especially the belts that
hook up your golf bags, range balls are in poor condition
Nice course but staff is the issue. Not friendly and feels as if there being bothered.
Merced area
Nice course the surrounding area not very clean the grass is good fairways good ,the greens are kept great and that's what makes it more challenging we played in late autumn so more leaves than was expected but I recommend it.
great local course
fun place to play overall. Course needs to be more proactive with random people trespassing, walking through course, fishing despite signs prohibiting. These trespassers pose a huge potential liability.

The course was good in a municipal area not the best type but once on the course no issues very friendly and good conditions club house open and nice overall for a municipal
most of the ball washers were broken .
after we made our time online, we get there and they said they couldn't honor it because they had a tournament there and it backed everything up. they finally put us on the back nine, but it was so slow it took us 1hr. to play 5 holes. since there were no marshalls on the course we had to skip holes to find time to get our 18 in.
The course was in good shape
The course was in good shape. A few of the sand had water. But all and all had fun.
I was a single so paired up with 3 others. Course layout was nice. Course conditions were sub-par. Greens were slow and bumpy. Tee boxes were fine. Fairways need lots of attention - bare spots all over the fairways. Pro shop attendant and cafe person were friendly. Just need to water the fairways and roll the greens a bit more (stimp was at 7 to 8 at times...too slow !).

Great challenging course, greens are great, fairways are not so good but mostly playable.

Although greens had been punched lately, course is in pretty good shape! Bunkers, which are most always terrible, today they were recently tilled & raked!

Well maintained course, with nice layout, ruined by over booking
Course has a nice layout and the fairways and greens are well maintained. However you do see evidence of homeless who spend the night, there’s trash on the side of several holes. Wish they threw that stuff away so they won’t come back.
The biggest issue here is overbooking and pace of play. Played on a Thursday afternoon and it was severely overbooked and slow groups. Pace of play was well over 4.5 hours.

Nice course. Friendly staff. Snack bar has alot of choices. Course is good for all skill levels..

Well, new lows, Bunkers were a lot worse! Fairways are getting worse by the day, more & larger bare spots!

Bunkers have been the same for 5+ years, stop crying about it, nothing is going to get done about it. I’ve played there a few times the bare spots shrink sometimes they’re bigger, but in all honesty how does that effect the play? You’re just a cry baby playing the same three golf courses if you don’t like it try another course if it’s not out of your comfort zone since you play these frequently!
