Good value
People are overly critical about the bunkers, they tell you at the pro shop it’s ground under repair, take it and move on! Pace of play was great at a 7:45 tee time, 18 holes in 3.5 hrs…. BLISS!
For 47$, I’ll be back!
Needs ownership to spend money
Love the layout of the course. The new greens are coming in nicely. The bunkers, tee boxes, and fairways need some work. The bunkers need to be redone totally. I saw they are putting a new housing development maybe they will put money into the course after that’s done.
Read War and Peace while waiting to hit shots
5 groups stacked up on the first tee and one group hit 10 tee balls none over 100 yards or in the fairway and never let anyone play thru the entire round. I don't know if they ever warmed up but it was slow. I asked the starter about the marshal while still on the tee box he said we had one but we never saw one. We can't wait for the bunker's to get fixed.
Layout Great- Course not so
Fantastic layout. Really nice looking holes. Problem is the
Course condition is not very good. NONE of the sand traps are playable. Course rule is free drop from every bunker. Looks like they’ve been that way for years. Better is they converted sand bunkers to grass bunkers. Also, a lot of dry spots on fairways. On positive side, they promote new Greens and the greens are nice.
If you just want to get out and aren’t concerned about bunkers, for good rate, it may be worth a shot.
Poor Course
To start off with, the pace of play was horrible, played a 2:45 front 9 after we caught up to the groups in front of us. Fairways were not kept in good condition. The greens and the layout were the only redeeming qualities about the course. Left after 9 as our group was not trying to play a 5 and a half hour round of golf when our average time is 3:30. Driving range mats were pretty much hitting off a rock.
Overall
I like it. Lots of development going on around the course, but not distracting.
Not bad, not great, will play again
Fun course with a challenging layout. Course condition is a bit rough, all bunkers are not kept and are played as ground under repair. Fairways are okay, kind of spotty. Some holes are average, a couple are torn up. Greens are actually decent and roll pretty well. Lots of construction going on, so I imagine that’s why the course is a bit rundown. I will definitely play again, good for just a chill round of golf.
The course was in pretty decent condition. The bunkers were not maintained. Greens were recently sanded, but rolled pretty well
Challenging course for a high handicapper
Balls can get lost in the fairways and first cut as the grass grows a little high. Bunkers are not filled in. But the greens are decent and the course has some interesting holes. Staff was super accommodating and I enjoyed my first round here. Good value for the money. Plan to go back again.
